I'm getting bored of my iPhone 6 and am regretting switching from Android.
Classic case of 'the grass is greener' syndrome :)

In reality however it isn't greener, its usually just looks greener from afar.

That being said I like having both simultaneously ... It then becomes a matter of which flavour of android ... It's a never ending unquenchable device lust.

Yeah haha. I love tech and I need both but I am not in the financial position to get both nor I suspect, would be parents be particularly impressed even if I was able to get myself an android phone.

Time, because it rules EVERYTHING!
I was more interested in the 4K video and while I thought the Sony won:
- both models exhibited the infamous rolling shutter effect
- both models took their time attempting to refocus its that the sony was faster.

I didn't see that as much with the Z5 so yes it was better at 4K video, but I still thought the iPhone was pretty sharp. But what do you expect with tiny sensors and 4K quality with no OIS.

Agree with a lot here. The iPhone being topped doesn't mean the iPhone experience is now suddenly bad.

And very much agree with your last comment. I think Apple branding goes a long way in helping them maintain their sales and prestige. I've argued many times as such in the past; their branding is so strong that they're allowed to get away with a lot. Too much, in my opinion.

I think you have to consider the service aspect of Apple as well. It's not like the iPhone is the best of everything but it basically does most things really well. The app ecosystem is top notch, and couple that with their customer service which has been always great to me. It's the products AND support that make apple brand strong. It's something others try but so far are behind.

If I were you I would trade my iPhone 6 in for a 6s plus.

I've explained this plenty of times. I'm a teenager with no source of income and the iPhone 6 was a Christmas present. I cannot give my phone away.

Maybe he hasn't read your explanation from other posts? You can't expect forum people to research your circumstances.

Every time your post, you are a new person to someone. I had no idea of your situation until now.

Your not being that clear anyway. If it was a Christmas present, why can't you sale it for the upgrade? If you have zero cash, then that is a legitimate reason. If you parents would be insulted and mad, that is another reason. Be clear... He is just trying to be helpful in a one-word sort of way.

Yes, but next to the Xperia Z5 Compact it's the best small smartphone camera due to what seems to be software issues with the Z5 currently.
I say that as people on here and other reviews have said about the software not coping in low light, or exposure being a bit off, but also the phone can be slow saving HDR photos, in contrast to the reliable performing iPhone. I think real people using these phones in real life offer a much better review then tests performed under laboratory conditions.

Had a Z5 Compact for about a week and the camera software is a mess. It was constantly crashing, took a long time to load sometimes and when it did work I felt pictures had way too much blur and artifacts. Autofocus seemed to focus on the wrong thing often. I'm sure Sony will fix it in the upcoming update but I really would not place much value on that DxO site considering they can't even make graphs.

iPhones have always had some of the best camera software even though the cameras themselves are maybe not the best available. I was bummed that OIS was not available on the iPhone 6S and hope that it will be a standard feature on the 7.

PS. MRU, your photos look amazing.

I assumed that he knew because he was participating in another thread that I had posted my expansion. It's both. I have no money and my parents won't be happy besides even if I own my phone I can't just go out and sell my phone. My parents don't let me sell anything I own.

True but many of us here with are serial buyers and upgraders must also remember others may not be in as fortunate positions in order to do same and show equal understanding & respect.

That being said it's clear this is just a case of misunderstanding and no offence was meant between either parties. Now shake hands, eat some cake and let's move on :) :)

Of course, and I didn't mean to come across offended. Sometime I am a little blunt, for better or worse.

Serial upgrading, something I am attempting to swear off this year. Bound and determined to keep my current phone for a full year

buying the 6S 64gig on sunday at the apple store, think I'm going to pass on the apple upgrade program and just pay in full. I already feel like $800 is too much, $930 - even though its spread over 24 months, just too too much.

I traded in my Note5 for the 6S plus. I truly missed the all day battery life I got with 6 plus, the 6S
Plus is thankfully more of the same. The 2 gigs of ram really does help with the snappiness of apps and I enjoy using Safari now. I think i'm the only one who enjoys Apple's implementation of widgets. It's just cleaner having everything in one place.

I do miss the Note5's S-Pen though.

The 6S Plus gets better battery life than the Note 5 ? I am getting 7h Screen On time, and a solid 2 days use with my Note 5. I had the 6 Plus last year, and the Note 5 is probably 20% better on battery for me.

And Widgets on iOS is the one thing that helped me leave Apple and run back to Android. iOS way of cluttering them all up in the notification tray just blows IMO. I like Widgets on my home screens, to see immediately and right there. I want the weather forecast right away on my home screen. I want my sports scores right there, not having to swipe down to the notification area to find them.

I still can't understand why Apple can't let the user decide to use Widgets on the home screen or not. Sure if you don't want them or like them, that's fine, but at least give us the option to not have them there, but let us chose if we'd like them on our home screen or notification tray area.

Nah, there's two or three of us that like iOS's widget implementation. Think there might even be a support group for us. ;)

I like having them all in one place, accessible from any place on the phone. It certainly isn't for everyone but works great for me.

Hahaha. Glad i'm not the only one.

@Tig Bitties Solid 2 days on a Note5? Never experienced that. Granted I never installed a new rom and was on stock. Had Google location services, push, sync etc all on and it took me easily to around 10pm after unplugging at 8am. It was the best battery experience from an Android device. The IPhone 6S plus and ios 9 is just stellar together. After unplugging at 8am on a day, my phone could easily go into the next afternoon without a charge. And I'm always on my phone.
