I have 8 days remaining. It's painfully so slow that I don't want to download it.

Does anyone have advice on how to speed up the mac app store? Every download from it is super slow no matter what day or time. I moved to China and have to use the United States MAS. Does anyone have any security/firewall tips or something to get my normal download speeds?

When I download software updates, they take merely minutes for 200MB updates. It's just the Mac App Store.

Any help appreciated.

There is a cache file you need to delete. I used to have that issue but after deleting the file my downloads are fast. I'll start googling for you.

Nope. I've downloaded 3GB of 4.34GB. Downloading at 2.3MB/s at this very moment.

After getting that error multiple times I rebooted my Mac mini and started the download just fine. You guys should reboot your machines and try to download it again...
