I want to Apple Store to pickup the regular size 15Pro but after seeing how nice the pro max is I decided to try it out. I have about a week left to decide if I continue with it or go back to 15 Pro.

I do love it, the screen is big, the keyboard is a joy with two thumbs and the battery life is amazing really. It’s just a better device to work on.

On the downside, it’s bloody heavy, I can feel the pinky fatigue which is not something I ever thought I’d say haha. It’s very hard to operate or hold with one hand only and I do have big hands. It also doesn’t fit very well in the back pocket of a standard jeans.

I think I’ll try the pro for two weeks next and decide which one to keep.
Apple’s return policy is so damn good😂

Got mine today, crazy with the apple FW case it’s 15 grams lighter that my 14 pro with the sheath or mous case. I can finally type again lol
So far so good.

Congrats! How do you like the FW case? I just got my PM today as well and am caseless at the moment 😳. Loving it but too paranoid to go without all the time-especially with the size increase.

I really want the Pro Max model drop to about 200g. iPhone 15 Plus meet my requirement but it only has 6GB ram. I will wait for next Pro Max drop to 200g.

Went from an Xs Max to the 15 Pro Max. Love the form & size and the 5x optical zoom works fantastic. Other than that not much difference. Keeper.

Yeah I like it, very light and feels good, good fit, good magsafe and buttons, I got it for free so can't complain lol,
black case with the nat tit max.

I’ve been going with the Plus/Max phones since they started. I have smaller hands but I use a PopSocket for one handed use. And now with MagSafe PopSockets it’s much easier too.
Ordered lamicall magsafe ring from amazon. Excited to try with it.

Would you mind sharing a pic of that combo?

i dont mean for this to take offence, but for those who feel that this phone is too heavy for use, is there some sort of physical issue preventing you from holding a phone for long periods?

Genuinely curious as to why people feel this phone is too heavy to be used.

My two year old daughter can hold my 15 PM for extended periods without issue when shes watching videos on it.

its about half the weight of a coffee mug. surely this cant be something that any grown adult (or even a child) feels like they struggle to hold?
Your 2 year old isn’t an adult who uses it one handed. Pinky fatigue is a real thing. If it isn’t for you that’s awesome. Enjoy your max haha.

what about battery? Thinking of going 14PM to 15Pro but not sure about battery.
I just picked up a 15 pro. I’ve had the smaller pro size since the 11 pro. Tried the 15PM this year and it was obnoxious to use one handed. Battery life on the pro is perfect for me. Here’s my take; the pro max would get me a day and a half. Now if I’m on that next half day, I’ll still need a full charge to make it the whole day in which I need to plug it in. So needing to charge daily is still the case. So the pro is perfect. Perfect size. I can text one handed easily on it. Media consumption is still amazing. And my apple leather wallet is a perfect fit on the back 👌🏼 selling off my pro max!

I have the pro and am actually considering the pro max (just reseved one to pick up tonight)

It is the age old trade-off, better battery and larger screen vs. easier one-handed use and less bulk to carry. I had the 14PM last year and it was a burden at times which is why I went pro, however, the 15PM is lighter has rounded eges and is slightly shorter and narrower too so maybe will be more manageable. I am not quite 50 yet but I think my eyes may apprciate the larger screen TBH.
I was considering a 15PM because I’m starting to do a lot more ebook reading on my iPhone. My eyesight isn’t great and I don’t feel like using reading glasses so I have my font size pretty big. Which is maybe 2-3 paragraphs on screen at once.

I could get by just fine on my 14 Pro. Just some wishful thinking about the Pro Max. Thought about an iPad mini, but decided against it.

How do you like your Pro Max? Any regrets with it?

I would suggest kindle or another eink tablet for reading. Staring at oled for reading might be not the best option. Though 15PM is a really great phone and tolerates larger font really well without feeling awkward. On regular size larger front starts looking out of place and another people can definitely spot larger font applied, but not with pro max size.

12 pro max to 15 pro - no regrets I feel liberated from years of carrying a larger phone. I miss the screen and battery life but really need the pocket ability of the smaller form factor. It really depends on how/where/how often you carry your phone and what features are most meaningful to you.

For me its been 45 days when I bought my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I love this beautiful piece of mini super computer. The camera, the hardware, the speakers. The only issue is battery life, but its not bad, its just I was expecting it to last far more than iPhone12 PM, my previous phone. But I can live with it.

Lucky you didn’t get the pro then

For reading I’d be wanting the variable refresh screen… makes a big difference once you use it.
