How do you like it so far? I'm waiting to see the list price on the new Bond AT, but I will be looking into adding a Speedy to the mix to pair with my SMPc:apple:
To be honest, Aqua terra is a watch I have never considered, since it is too similar to Datejust. Up to now Speedy is my daily watch, fit is good. I was scared at the beginning, since it is 42 mm diameter and my previous watch was 36 but I like more the bigger dimension. I think it is a good tool watch

Also, thinking of getting one of the new 2015 models. All steel and no date this time. Either in 26mm, 31mm, or 34mm. The one above is an Oyster Perpetual Datejust II, 36mm.

Edit: not sure why my photos turned a bit grainy when I uploaded.

I love Datejusts. I plan on getting myself a used steel one in the next few years.

A steel Datejust with a traditional fluted or smooth steel bezel and a creamy white dial. A real beauty! ;)

----------

Picked up a Submariner "Hulk" this week, loving it so far!

Love this. I would love to own a Submariner. But 40mm is a bit big for me. I wish they would make a 36mm model. I think 36mm is the biggest I can wear on my wrist.

For me it's a fluted bezel, baton markers and a black dial that does it for me. Although I do often get tempted by the cream dial on occasion.

Whilst subjecting myself to a frequent torturous and pointless eBay trawl recently I came across one with a burgundy starburst dial and I have to say I thought it was gorgeous.

Yes, I love your selection as well ...

When you get one, would you go for the oyster or jubilee bracelet?

I like colored dials but I personally don't see myself getting a Rolex with a burgundy dial. Blue, green, black, white, silver are the only colors I'd get :D

Definitely a Jubilee. Classic look and really comfy.

I'm a big fan of the traditional look and would never have considered a dial other than black but the burgundy is seriously nice.

Who's got a nice watch? Traditional watches only, no smartwatches please.

Ah okay. I personally prefer the oyster bracelet because of how it looks and is great for everyday wear. But I understand why you'd go with the jubilee, it does look elegant and is more comfortable and light. Also, the oyster bracelet is more casual while the jubilee looks in my opinion formal and is the better option if you want a dressy watch. But keep in mind that the jubilee might stretch over time. However, I've also noticed that my Datejust with an oyster bracelet shows more scratches than the jubilee.

I've tried both in a Rolex AD and thought that the jubilee suited it better for my tastes. I've got an Explorer homage that came on an oyster but it had a dicky clasp, so I bought a jubilee for it and it transformed the watch and convinced me that was the way to go.

Here's an example of the burgundy dial by the way.

Oooohh ... I did not picture this in my mind when I read your earlier post about the burgundy dial. I don't think I've seen this color before. Maybe Rolex stopped making dials this color or perhaps I didn't come across one. Looks really great!

Nice aren't they! If someone had said to me "Burgundy dial" I'd have thought "Ewww" but the reality is pretty nice. Some pics it comes across as a really nice sunburst design.

I really enjoy this thread as I like watches. Why? I like that they are mechanical and complex or electric and simple. I like that they come in so many designs, colors, flavors. I like this thread because it opens my eyes to watches that I have never been exposed to. Some folks post simple pictures of their pride and joy and some who are more accomplished photographers post some really gorgeous shots. I like both. Ok, here it comes. My pet peeve...a picture of a watch with a steering wheel emblem of some hi end car or your MacBook prominently displayed in the background. Am I supposed to be impressed with your car or your computer? If you like your auto, there is a thread for posting pictures of your car (yeah, I subscribe to that one too). I'd like to see just the watch. On or off the wrist, keep it simple and focus on the watch. Oh boy, I can feel the flames already. Ducking and covering.

I love pictures of watches in different surroundings instead of just on a blank background like a stock photo. Such as a picture of someone with their watch in a Honda.

Hi everybody, seeing a lot of nice watches I decide to join :D. I'm debating between these two colour schemes, can you give me opinion to which looks better? I'm a student graduating soon so I need a watch both looks professional, casual, easy to see.

Thank you for your opinions!

 Well everybody better start using stock pics from google image search then.. Since this is an apple forum i even like it when stuff is posted with a little apple reference. And if somebody shows off their car so what  better than a collection of just different wrists.

I think i will post my next item on a stack of money just for you :D or even take it to a rolls royce dealer just for the pic ;)

By the way, what are you trying to tell us with your zagato avatar? Am i supposed to be impressed?

The "ducking and covering" (LOL so this is still a thing on the web?) shows that you were just trying to provoke (obviously successfully in my case) which is in no way superior to somebody showing off his/her car.

*rant mode off* (i hope these stars are still a thing as well)

Are any of you watch guys going to Wilmington, OH tomorrow?

If you are, I'll be there. I'm not getting a table and didn't bring anything to sell, but did run by the bank and fill up my brief case with some(sort of) interesting stuff for "show and tell." I may try to bum a seat behind a friends table, or else will be walking the floor.

I'll be wearing a black polo with the "WatchUSeek" logo on it and will probably have a '50s Longines on my wrist along with something in my watch pocket. Stop by and say hi!
