And very nice too!
I have a similar Spaceview, an inexpensive (at the time) good, used condition purchase a few years ago, and just love it. These were first introduced to the public in 1960, this being before the first commercial quartz-crystal watches launched by Longines in 1969.
I especially enjoy putting my wrist to my ear to listen to it's unique electronicaly activated vibrating tuning fork humming movement.
When required do you change the battery yourself? I always do, and as these model 214 Spaceviews are particularly voltage sensitive and the original 387 mercury cells no longer available I now use the Energizer 394 (387S), which don't last for much longer than 14 months but certainly "keeps 'em humming."
Mine has an unusual 14kt 'Alpha' case, similar to the one shown
HERE. With M4 marked on the case back and an early production B099** serial number, I believe dates it as around 1962 - a 60 year-old golden oldie! Unfortunately it doesn't have the original white hands and white sweep, or an original 'dotted' crystal.
Never really liking 'dress watches' though, I'd have prefered it had the case been stainless steel, but as it was a great offer at the time, I grabbed it.
