What is it that you believe Mackeeper is doing for you?Never-mind. I emailed MacKeeper about compatibility. Oh and bye the way I have never had an issue with MacKeeper so not sure what your problem is.

https://www.macrumors.com/2015/09/22/office-2016-mac-now-available-one-time-purchase/Yes but it requires a subscription. But I do see I can send $230 and get it from MacMall.com.
I do not need the new features so as long as 2011 works I am happy.
How many times do you need to ask the same question? See your previous thread for answers:One user said it works just fine in EL Captain and another user said it does not work properly. So if you use Office 2011 does it work or not in EL Captain? I rely on Office and it MUST work, or I will remain on Yosemite until Office 2016 is released.
Why not just using them on limited machines? Or buy a subscription? Or simply buy a few more licenses?Yes, it's working fine for me. Some folks have had trouble with Outlook. My only issue with MS is their arcane initialization system. I've been using Office 2011 since it's release. I have the Home & Business Edition and it allows me 2 licenses for 2 machines. I have an MBA with an Internal and external drive a cMP with 7 drives, 5 of them with OS's and Office installed. Obviously I can only use one at a time. Reactivating takes a lot of time and effort over the phone. On the last call they told me that over the years I've activated it 11 times which is probably true. They also said I wouldn't be allowed anymore activations. This of course blew my mind I do not have this issue with any other software house.

Office 2016 is already out and available for one time purchase.
And office 2011 may have compatibility issue with El Capitan.
Oh. Ok. Sorry for misundestanding. My fault. You don't really understand. I own licenses for two machines, and I use MS Office on two machines. No More - No Less!
Don't know what you mean by limited machines? And why should I buy more licenses for something that I have already paid for? And as far a subscriptions goes, I refuse to rent software! Either I own it or I don't. For me, renting is out of the question.
We know Office 2016 is out, but there appear to be issues. And Office 2011 does what I want it to. I'm not sure I need to upgrade because I'm happy with Office 2011, outside of the activation issue. Office 2011 has no compatibility issues out side of Outlook 2011 connecting to servers.

Micromat's TechTool Pro 8.03 is out in Beta right now. I have it and everything works fine in El Cap, I'm currently running 10.11.1, PB2. Hold on, the final 8.03 release will be coming soon and it will be a free upgrade from 8.0.2.

Thanks.. I will wait till Outlook 2011 is compatible with EL Captain so for the moment its Yosemite.

that's why i get this office from "elsewhere."Same here, I went through that same circus with Microsoft too, after multiple calls, over three hours wasted I was still stuck with my fully paid for Office 2011 not activated on a primary system. Two minutes on the web problem solved...
FWIW Microsoft initially told me their system was, down, then pointed me to an automated system which has you inputting a ridiculous 48 character key delivered by voice over the phone, which needless to say did not work after 3 attempts, then points you back to more people in a call centre based in Asia that are once again unable to help. who needs this BS when on a job in Borneo, equally at no time had I ever had more than two instances of Office 2011 installed. Even Microsoft`s "staff" were not able to explain why the activation "flipped" being only just barely capable of reading off the screen "parrot fashion"
Bottom line I won't be even considering Office 2016, as long as I can maintain Office 2011, preferably I can ditch the whole mess. To me blocking activations of Office 2011 is akin to "ransomware" as MS know people are "locked into" Office, therefore effectively forcing you to pay for Office 2016...
