I have never had a problem with the app. The only thing I will say is that their customer service/tech support is terrible. Thats really my only complaint. For example I contacted them to ask about the EL Captain upgrade and I got a response with bad grammar.

People must have had a bad install or some other problem that I have not experienced.

It sure runs allot better than some other Mac AntiVirus software from the past.

Any install of MacKeeper is bad. aAny install of antivirus on Mac is also bad. How many people does it take to convince you that you need to abandon a useless and problematic application?

It is not gonna happen... Microsoft doesn't support Office for Mac 2011 anymore. I am sure Microsoft is not going to listen your whines or complains. Sorry.

A little more on the subject - Directly from Microsoft:

Hey thanks, that is good "Official News" and confirms that both companies want to fix the problem - that is my "take away" from this announcement.

Given that this issue is mostly an "exchange server" issue it probably represents serious revenues for Microsoft on the email / exchange side of their business so hopefully a fix is imminent.

If smaller companies that have been working well on exchange servers 2010 and below, are forced to upgrade to exchange server 2010 SP2 and above, it is a dilemma for both Microsoft and Apple - given that there are many legacy users that may upgrade to El Capitan and they face the upgrade decision - 2016 or 2011- and blame both companies?

I was expecting Microsoft to say "upgrade" but since 2016 is caught up in this too it probably is not an option.

Bottom line - I am quite happy to hear this and will wait for the fix !

Edit - This only affects exchange accounts and does not affect excel, word or regular outlook use, so for the most part office 2011 is still working with El Capitan

That'd be TRUE:p And it's working where the 2016 versions are not.

OK - thanks - downloading now and eager to see of this is the fix.

Edit / Update - Installed without finding out what the upgrade was for - but so far it does seems to be working! - after the update it did not sync to the exchange server - so I quit outlook and after restarting it does seem to work.

El Cap 10.11.1 beta 15B30a / outlook 14.5.6 (150930) / iOS 9.1 (13B136)

The real test will be to see if it works for extended time and if other users that could not use exchange check in with good news - so far looks good.

Hey - Thanks Microsoft!
