iPod Will YOU be buying a new iPod?

Depends on the capacity and the battery life specs whether I will buy one. It has to be a lot better than my 5.5 Gen 80 Gig.
nah, I would never use it. I have a nano and shuffle for running (depending on whether I'm using my nike+) and an iphone for every other time.

I got a $300 dollar Apple gift card for Christmas, and I have been waiting for the ipod touch. I will take the gift card to work with me and buy one directly after work, I might even ask for an extra long lunch to buy go to the apple store and buy it. I'm so excited

I really should buy my new video camera. BUt if Apple comes out with a 200gb plus version, I will be racing to the Apple store. I love having all my music and videos with me.
I have a 5G iPod and will be getting an iPhone. I don't see a reason to buy a touch screen iPod. My 5G will just be getting used in the car with the iTrip and to play games, the iPhone will go to the gym and around with me. So I can't justify spending the money on it when it will prob just be a phoneless iPhone. I'm also saving all my money for a Nikon D40 and additional lenses!
if it has widescreen and touch technology, I'm definitely getting one, even though I have a 5g 30 gig video. I think I know someone I can give it to, though. I love my vid iPod, I watch movies in the airport while I'm waiting to get on the plane. A widescreen would be da bomb.
It depends. if its like an iPhone with no phone then mabey. But i really like my 2nd G Nano, and the question is if i really need all those bells and whisltes
kind of agree, but i'm passing my 2G 8GB Nano onto the missus..
so now i don't have an ipod.. so i'll just have to have one ..

I'll probably be getting one right away since my 5G Video Ipod just got bad. Everything is fine but as soon as it is backlighted, you can see large line of missing lights... This really makes me sick. At best I can leave backlights closed at all moments so I don't remember this but this makes me bad... I hope to never get that sort of problems on a big, nice widescreen iPod or

If i live in England, and IF new amazing iPods are released tomorrow (Wed 5th) and IF they are available in store straight away, will i be able to go out from work at lunch (1pm london time) and buy one? I work a 2 minute walk from the Regent Street apple store, and it would be so great to get one on the day of release.

yes, but it will have to be a 30 gb model, since i just eclipsed the required space for a possible 16 gb nano, and with the Best Show On WFMU podcasts taking up space at a record clip, 30 is my best option.

The media event doesn't start until 6:00pm UK time and there's no way they would let the new toys out before Steve's had his chance to show off the new goodies.
Thanks for clearing that up, i was unaware when the even kicked off. Seems i shall be on the tube home while it all takes place. Maybe ill nab one before work on thursday.
If they ship the fatty/nano/mini that plays video on a screen the size of the current video ipod, I'll most likely get one. At least if the price is in the same ballpark as the current nanos.
I want video, but I'm too cheap to get one of the biggies. And I don't think there's any chance that the touchscreen models will have wifi web browser access. If it did, I'd be really tempted to check out that model.
