6.5 oled will beat 5.8 oled for sure

whoever used X now is wait for bigger screen coming

No thanks I’ll stick to this size don’t want a bigger phone. Big screen small phone is the perfect combo.

And I’m on a yearly upgrade plan so I can get the next version of my iPhone X anyway. But I won’t get a plus version of it hell no.

current size is kind small like ipod touch
if it bigger like 8 plus then perfect move

These are my requirements -

4 GB RAM
Far better front camera
Far faster charging
More color options
5.8" X2 drops by $100-$200
Improve iOS (add location toggle, split-view, PiP)

^ If none of those are met, then it's not a 100% green light.

This isn't 2012 anymore. There are a ton of great options out there. All most of us really need is to run apps. Not everyone needs an ecosystem or whatever. Samsung might come up with a revolutionary form factor with the Galaxy X next year.

My next phone is going to be a Sony. MicroSD slot and headphone jack are features I like and I doubt Sony, Samsung, and LG will ditch those anytime soon. The Walkman will always be the more influential product than the iPod.

Sony was Apple and Samsung like 30 years ago. So Apple and Samsung can price their phones at $900-$1000+ but people complain about Sony being old junk? I missed when the Japanese ruled tech in the 80's and 90's. Those days are gone.

Is Sony's quality so bad that Apple and Samsung's stuff are really $300-$400 better? I don't think so. I would rather have the XZ1 Compact than the X now. The X feels bulky and tall after getting used to SE for awhile.

I don't like the huge phones, ,8 is more than big enough for me already. If phones are going bigger, i'll have no choice but to keep my current phone.

Under IUP I'm really just leasing the phone. They will most likely replace it in 2018, 2019, 2020, etc

Not everyone wants to lug around a mini tablet as their phone so a bigger screen doesn’t do anything for me. If making this thread makes you feel better for waiting then good for you.

Remember 5.8 oled people thought is huge phone and after now is small like an ipod

6.5 will around 8 plussize or bit bigger
not big like tablet

Apple's mid size phones outsell the SE and the plus. The Plus and SE are niche markets. Some say the X is too big as it is. We will probably see an X Plus type phone next year, but I can't imagine there won't also be an update to the X that doesn't increase the size.

If they ONLY came out with a Plus size X and nothing else new, it will be my first year of skipping a release since 2007, and I know I wouldn't be alone.

Apple knows they have a nice fat contingency of yearly upgraders who like the 6/7/8 size, and now the X size...they're not going to lose millions next year by not giving us serial upgraders a new model.

apple will make 5 big wanted on 2018 surely customer will jump buy like X preorder

1/ 6.5 Oled with 30% improve brightness and clearness
2/ new color added = let say blush gold or something new
3/ rear camera emoji and front improve
4/ 5G speed
5/ face id fastest scann yet

i believe those 5 listed at least 3 will happended

and of course Hot Sale begin

Nope, I don’t upgrade every year anymore. I had my 5s since just after launch, and will have my X at least 2-3 years. I also have no interest in a bigger form factor as an X Plus would be (but think it is great that option will be there - likely - for that want it).

Is it a new iPhone, then yes. Lol

There are some that don't care. They will support Apple and pay whatever they want in terms of they release for a product regardless of what they charge or direction this Company takes. For some, Apple has a very cult like following and nothing will phase them regardless of what changes are made.
Yah true story lolll

Since I’ve Bought an iPhone every year except the 4S.... it’s a good chance that I will yes :(

What has Apple done to deserve my absolute loyalty you ask ?

They continually put out a premium, well-made product, that secures my security and has a continual support for five years of iOS updates with excellent customer service to stand behind the Product. That's what they have 'done' to secure my loyalty to this company and I will continue to support Apple if those expectations are met.

No matter the price?

I agree with what you're saying but at the same time I'm not going to be bent over by Apple on pricing... and if you're curious what I'm talking about... that would be the $1500+ cell phone that will be here soon. Maybe as soon as next year with the X Plus.

I already ditched my MBPro and iMac to build a PC with 3x the hardware at a much better price than anything Apple could sell me.

Same for me, except change 4S to 4.

I voted 'undecided' as I do want to take a wait-and-see approach to it, but considering my need to have the newest and shiniest thing, odds are good I'll probably end up getting the new one next year.

For an iPhone, there likely would be a cut off point for me where I'm not going to spend a ridiculous amount of money for something I upgrade annually. The iPhone is a commodity, given though how we all are completely immersed into it in our daily lives. I don't believe the iPhone X Plus will be anything near $1500. I Believe the next iPhone X plus will range around $1250 for starting price.

Watch apple will bring bigger Oled screen = that powerful weapon make people change their mind to get it no matter what

I hope apple also bring OLED screen in iPad mini or iPad 9.7 or 10.5 pro, edge to edge display like X, Face ID, Notch or no Notch doesn’t matter. Full blazing stereo & Dolby speakers. Price it moderately, back & front made of glass, super dark black back not smoky or space grey.
