Hope the Mango rollout goes without a hitch for the WP7 users among us.

I've not got my Omnia 7 any more so I wont be joining in all the fun sadly. :(

Looking forward to the feedback!

I've restarted my HD7 on T-Mobile five times already hoping it will some get the update notification. I've also connected it to my computer to try and force the update but it's a not there yet. Still waiting...

Tried the internet trick on my Mac but it didn't work. Finally gave up and used my PC. After 5 minutes I got the trick to work. Installing the first update now. :)

Any of you guys use the Zunepass? I heard you can download tracks directly to your phone without needing to sync to a computer. They have a 14 day free trial. Going to fire up Virtualbox Win8 and give it a go

Seems (in the UK at least) that unlocked phones are getting it first.

Chaz what happened to the Omnia?

I couldn't resist the allure of the Galaxy S II.

Zune Pass is fantastic. I'd highly recommend it as a music subscription service.

I got the alert when I connected my WP7 to my computer a few hours ago, and it took a few hours to download Mango on my crappy DSL connection, while watching Netflix :p

...but OMG WOW it's amazing. It feels even faster! And while I was driving tonight, with my windows down, I pushed the mic button, and told my phone to text my girlfriend that I would be home soon. It got what I was saying, exactly. That itself, was fantastic.

Aha I see. Just got Mango and holy moly its fast! Loving it!

+1

It's very very fast. I have a HD7 and a Mozart, and the speed difference between the Marketplace on both devices, for example, is astonishing.

Well done, Microsoft, well done. Happy Mango user here!

Been running Mango for a while on my Focus and love it. I initially ditched my WP7 phone and went back to my iPhone 3G because WP7 was horrible. Mango really brings it all together and makes it a lot more functional. I love my phone now.

I don't think WP7 was ever horrible. It was just certain functionality wasn't all flushed out.

I had issues with appointments being dropped and the lack of functionality was horrible. Added to that you were very limited as to how and what you could do as a developer (I'm a c# dev). Sorry, but the lack of functionality for me makes it horrible. However, that is now gone...:D

Got a HTC Titan coming this week. Cant wait. Supposed to be the best camera of any HTC phone yet. Their cameras have always been behind the competition.

The future of TellMe

Of course it's just vaporware right now. But IF MSFT can deliver everything they showed in that video within a year on both Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 - that will be a "magical" event.
