I wonder if it'll have the same internals as the SGS II?

On another note, I'lll be taking delivery of a Samsung Omnia 7 tomorrow. That'll be an iOS, 3 Android and one WP7 devices under my belt.

Curious - why does 1 person need 5 smartphones?:confused:

I have the Omnia 7 too, its great, i find the screen to be better than the Nexus S. Even though they have the same specs. Only thing that nags me is that the touch sensitive buttons are a bit too easily pressed.

3 smartphones Nexus S, ZTE Blade and Omnia 7) ;) My Nexus is my personal phone, the Blade is my hacking toy. My missus didn't want a phone so she ordered one for me with her new line.

The other 2 gadgets are my Xoom and iPod touch. I love tech and don't mind doing things multiplatform.

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it. Been impressed with the Nexus S and the build materials and quality look like they're better on the omnia.

Every couple of weeks it seems the WP7 news brings something amazing! Yesterday IE9 rendering getting 50fps and new handsets...

The build quality of the Omnia 7 is one of the best i have seem from Samsung so far. Feels like HTC made it ;)

I've seriously been contemplating the switch to WP7 world.

I have a Captivate running FroYo right now, and before it, had the iPhone 3GS.

Idk, I might stick with Android through Ice-Cream-Sandwich, and then switch. I'm looking forward to the next flagship Nexus

Got it today and it's one impressively built device!

Just finishing applying all updates now.

Dont forget to update your sig ;)

And it is just me or does the screen look better than the Nexus S?

If your not sure then might be best to wait until Mango and the next wave of WP7 mobiles come out. I love it as a platform though. Looking forward to Ice Cream Sandwich as well but i wish Android market was better and that the OS supported GPU acceleration.

Sig updated. :D I see what you mean by the screen. Even on the lowest settings it looks better. This may be thanks to the colour temperature "fix" that Google applied with 2.3.3. (The phones in the article are my ZTE Blade and Nexus S). :D

Continuing to play with my new toy. Liking it so far, it's smooth, new and different.

I'm not sure because of the fact that it's not too open. You don't have too many choices with what the phone displays. I like doing whatever I want with my phone, tweaking it around, doing different "mods" etc. And that's why I'm hesitant about leaving Android.

I only have one upgrade a year, and am trying to make the best of it.

I wasn't aware of the colour fix. Certainly makes sense

Android does seem to be best if your a tinkerer. :)

Mango supposed to drop on 1st Sep. Hope so im ready and waiting :D

According to Microsoft, all that is holding it back now is the OEM'S. Looking forward to getting the "official" Mango final. It's been worth the wait! :)

Going to roll my Omnia back to Nodo in preparation for the update.

What an end to the year, Mango, IceCream Sandwich and iOS5! :D

Shame to see WebOS suffer like it has tho.

Yeah im so glad its finally upon us. Hopefully this should help see a rise in sales, along with Nokia getting their phone out and Samsung, HTC etc all getting ready for their second round of mobiles. I have been a WP7 user since december last year and im glad to have been on board from the start (Well almost the start) :D

Well Mango is now out in Japan on the Fujitsu IS12T. Its just been released over there. Specs look good.

"The smartphone’s stand-out features being water-resistant (IPX5/8) and dust-resistant (IP5X) technology, a 13.2 megapixel camera with smooth HD video recording and 32 GB of storage in a slim 10.6 mm thick body"

There have been another 8 devices shown up on a mobile benchmark app which will be coming in the next few weeks. HTC Mazaa, HTC Omega C110e. Samsung SGH-i937, LG LS831, Nokia SeaRay amongst some of them.

These WP7 phones are not stopping to amaze me. Especially with the release of Mango, I think WP7 could come out as a major competitor to Android and iOS.

WP7 will drown Android in all of it's Metro greatness!

You're a lucky (or really hardworking) guy to have all those devices. I really want a new phone, but as a student it's becoming less and less affordable by the day.
