@americafirst - I recall you have an interest in nice glass wear. I came across some nice wine/beer glasses, linked below. I ordered two of each but waiting for them to arrive.

beer and wine last night.
On the one hand, I'm pretty partial to Riedel glassware, but, on the other, its very fragility - this is the sort of glassware that if you so much as wave it anywhere near a tap (faucet?) before rinsing it, and cleaning it, will give thought to shattering itself.
Handled (fairly) carefully, it is lovely glassware.
Thank you. We will see how long they last with my butterfingers. I ordered two of each just in case someone stops by....lol
I have a weakness for glass and collectibles. A friend in California has a fantastic store and takes advantage of me every chance he gets. Here’s a group of glass. I had to crop an existing photo as I’m in the Twin Cities.

Which was better? Which of the two did you prefer?
wine for me in this instance.
a little wine and some whiskey for tonight.
Taking a pint of Pliny the Elder, in situ. May have to pick up a few bottles to go...
Yes I think I can handle the enjoyment for the both of us. Sorry I can’t share! My envy is bottomless.
Nevertheless, do enjoy this nectar.
For myself, a white Burgundy will suffice.

It’s one of the only double IPAs I truly love. Piny and crisp, not too heavy as some DIPAs get, boozy but not noticeably so. It’s a mighty fine beer, out done, in my humble opinion, only by their Blind Pig IPA, which may be my perfect IPA. It’s just like Pliny but endlessly drinkable and lacking a certain subtle underlying sweetness that I don’t care for in Pliny. To be honest I’d never say no to a pint of either...Well, maybe in some other life.
But do enjoy your Pliny the Elder.
Mind you, some tasting notes wouldn't go amiss; what makes this beverage so special? I assume that it is special the way that a Rochefort Trappistes 10 is special.
