I'm drinking a glass or two of red wine while reading from my nephew's small vineyard, it is a work in progress, but he is making good progress.
Young Meursault but still exquisite! If you like white wine, you must try it. It’s simply the best white in the world and I’m not saying that because I’m French!😅

But yes, I am in complete agreement with you, for I am also of the opinion that Meursault is the very best white wine in the world. And I love it.
Until 2013, I only ever consumed reds - rich, robust - but smooth - reds, and then, one evening, I was invited to partake of a private wine tasting, which comprised some of the wines in the private cellar of an independent wine shop owner.
The wines that he served that evening included Meursault, and it was an epiphany, the first time I had had a white wine that easily equalled the best of the reds that I liked. Since then, I have become a devotee of some excellent white wines.
I'm envious; do enjoy.

After a dry spell (though I had wine with dinner with my bubble of close friends at the end of January) had a Chimay Brown Ale and a Punk IPA last night. Went down well after soup and the miserable day coming home from my medical appointment having to push my bike (my fault I knew snow was coming but thought would be done beforehand).
I will join you in having one, an excellent way to spend an evening while reading.
