Absolutely. A nice baguette. Simple yet delicious. I’m back in France after leaving 6 years abroad. Surprisingly the thing I missed the most is ...the baguette!

EDIT: which Meursault & Chassagne did you have last time?

Sounds absolutely delicious; cannot begin to describe my envy - do enjoy.

Re my divine Burgundies: (and I love, nay, adore, Burgundies, especially good white Burgundies).

Cassagne-Montrachet - Alain Chavy 2015 (Grand Vin de Bourgogne) Les Chenes:

and,

Meursault - Maison Roche De Bellene (Veilles Vignes) Grand Vin De Bourgogne 2014.

Excellent choice! Bourgogne are exquisite, especially Meursault & Chassagne-Montrachet. 2015 & 2016 I think these are peak years for these wines (apogée), well done Sir.

If you want to know more about these wines you can check this site:

For me these are the best wines in the world and I’m not saying that because I’m French. 😅

i can’t wait to go back to the Caviste to get more.

Yes, actually, I think that I would agree with you that they are the best wines in the world.

Thank you for the link; I shall peruse it with an intense and absorbed interest.

Had a roast lamb and close friends for Orthodox Easter dinner last night. Was brought a red, a 2018 Madrian from Gascogne. Never had one and it was very nice indeed.
