Let's blame the autocorrect rather than the Stout...
HAHAHAHA..... The Stout had nothing to do with it!!!

As I had just opened the bottle - rather than made the extended acquaintance of the glorious contents - for once, the bottle (and its admirer) are blameless.
No, careless fingers (mine), myopic eyes an their spectacles (mine), and that damned autocorrect........(that Xenforo...) are a more credible culprit.
Anyway, a bottle of KBS is being eyed as I write......
Oh how jealous I am of you right now! I have not been able to get my hands on this. I so want to try this, a full bottle or pour! So jealous!
Sigh.
Actually, some months back, two crates came into the possession of my young off licence manager, and I was offered most of the contents of one crate, twenty bottles, if memory serves......Needless to say, this was an offer that I accepted with alacrity (and sod the expense). So, I have several bottles - some still from 2015, the previous crate - still stashed away.
Another crate materialised, - I was quietly advised of its existence - and I managed to secure four bottle from that one, but I have yet to take delivery of them, (although they are paid for).
Anyway, - and I write as someone who loves the rich Belgian quads - this is an outstanding beer. It is only when you sip one that you realise just how absolutely superlative - a stunning beer - it actually is.
So you are the one that has been hording all of the bottles! I kid of course. I have my local guy on the look out and to let me know if any come in to call me and I will pick them up. Sadly I don't have anybody "yet" who will hold and put them away for me! I am hoping that changes soon!
Some months ago, I purchased a single, solitary bottle of a beer called "Devil Dancer" - it is a triple IPA, a Pale India Ale - and hails from the wonderful Founder's brewery.
Tonight is the night I have decided that I shall become closer acquainted with this beer.
Please let us know what you think. A triple IPA! Oh my!
My 8th beer of the year.

Well I'm up to 10.I hope you enjoyed it and that you get to enjoy several more before December 31.
Well I'm up to 10.
Amazon pilsner beer at the Brazilian restaurant.
I thought we were out of bottles until I spotted a bottle of the previously posted Goose. Currently enjoying the last third of the bottle. I've been tempted to tap one of the 5 liter Hofbrau's I bought a while back. Though it's reserved for the holidays period. Incidentally, this is my first beer in over a month. With the weather so wishy washy, I'd moved onto stiffer drinks.
Scotch!Stiffer drinks?
For me, those are reserved as the final course of a long, lingering dinner with very good friends, or, as a final nightcap in deepest, darkest, winter - a place and time to whence it appears that we may be heading, alas.
Scotch!
The weather people keep saying it's going to rain. That there's going to be a large cold front moving in from the sea, which isn't very far away. We had to turn on the air conditioning yesterday for an hour because it was quite warm out. I'm not totally convinced we won't experience another dry and warm winter. The last good winter we had was in 2011. Prior to that, 2005, and before that it was 1997. Maybe even 2001, I can't quite remember. What I do remember about 1997 was that it was almost always raining and always cold, well into spring as well. Proceeding that winter, we had a mild autumn and a sweltering summer. I very clearly remember the evening Diana was killed in that automobile accident. It was in the high eights with warm wind. There had been several power outages in the day, and everyone was walking the streets to get some fresh air, or lack of I should say. I don't remember the exact time, but it showed up on the ABC network first, I believe. I was watching a show. The screen went black and I changed to another show airing a magic show. Quite popular during that time. Val Valentino as the masked magician, if I'm not mistaken. Ten minutes into the segment of doing a water and flame trick, the service was interrupted with breaking news. Now, I should tell you that automobile chases were very common in the late 1990s and early 2000s. I presumed it was one of those and sat around until the feel came in. A distant shot looking into the tunnel. Minutes later, the words/news appeared and it all made sense. The British Consulate's building was adorned with flowers for days if not weeks.
And yet another long-winded tangent by yours truly.
People are endlessly fascinated by celebrities. Like they're an exotic animal. They also get so emotionally attached. I felt her early death was sad, but I didn't spend weeks dwelling on it like people around the world did. Treating her ex-husband and children in the way they did. Death aside, I felt for her children.
I think the behavior is more common in American than other countries. Most Europeans are reserved as opposed to loud mouths from Middle America.
Chardonnay. Too much chardonnay was had with tonight's halibut and potato souffle on the side. I think I dozed off for an hour on the couch while attempting to watch a film. I'll be taking an early night provided there's no nappy changes due in the AM. Good night!
Couldn't agree more. The idea of trying to snap a selfie with some famous celebrity would never occur to me. Especially when it's a 'b' list celebrity.Well, yes, I will admit that the whole 'celebrity' culture leaves me cold.
Actually, candidly, it leaves me frigid. This is because I am not "endlessly fascinated", rather, I am bored and massively disinterested.
Personally, I thought the wild public over-reaction to the death of the former Princess of Wales a demonstration of mass public hysteria, much as, I suspect the death of Rudolf Valentino had been in 1926.
The day of her funeral, I flew out from Heathrow to Bosnia, - where I was to observe an election - and we were still over British airspace when the minute's silence occurred. The plane observed it, to my stupefaction. Out of courtesy, I did, too, but privately, I thought the whole thing a release - like a frenzy - of collective hysteria.
Granted, I think this sort of celebration of the twee, the sentimental, and the mindless glorification of witless celebrity is a feature of US culture, and is one that is probably found in the US to a far greater extent than it is in Europe.
Actually, I rather like European reserve, but then, I suppose, I embody it to a certain extent.

Although possibly of interest to you, I did see Patrick Stewart once!
As for the death of Lady Diana, well it was sad for those that knew her, but no more sad than all the other road deaths that occurred that day (and since).
In the late 90's on the Great North run.Ah, well, Patrick Stewart is someone I might make an exception for; where did you see him?
