No, they got rid of such nonsense sizes for a reason…. I’d rather they release a less powerful phone if they wanted to make a cheap model. Most people don’t need these blazing fast chipsets.

No, but I've noticed that 64 is still enough for my usage, even after several years. I have 128 GB because it's the new default, but I've barely using a quarter of that space. I'm not sure why phone storage capacities are increaasing at the rate that they are. Maybe I'm just not using my phone in the way that most people are.
I don’t store music or many apps on mine but space somehow gets eaten. One time i saw that Facebook alone was somehow eating 20 gigs of space. Every time i get a new phone i start from scratch to clean the junk out… i also dump my photos every month or 2 cus photos and videos eat space fast. I did go from a 64 to a 128 with my last phone change and its suprising how fast all that extra storage goes.

Same. I have enabled that it automatically off-loads apps I no longer use and the photo library is in the cloud. I started with about 40GB free and now many years later it's at 25.

I've just not had to worry about it more than that the older Apple podcast app used to steal many gigabytes for unnecessary local syncing. Switched to Overcast and set a strict limit.

No, 16GB is absolutely insufficient nowadays. I would even have doubts regarding 32GB. I think 64GB is enough for me on an iPhone, but it also depends on what you do with it. If you record videos, then no.
