Nicely put. Neither would I.

I use a phone to make and receive calls and texts; I use a watch to tell the time.......and mark the passing of time.

I want both to do both. I use my phone now like a watch because i don't wear a watch. But I want a watch that tells time makes and receives calls and text and has apps.

Yes I'd wear one. Currently looking at the Pebble Steel - in the market for a new watch and figure might as well get one that can do a bit more than tell the time.

I'm not a dweeb, so absolutely not.

Wearing one of these only stands to hurt you, especially if you wear something cheesy like this when at a job interview or out trying to meet women, or what have you.

I was an early adopter of tossing my wristwatch in the dresser drawer way back when clocks first appeared on cell phones. Back then, public perception was that if you didn't have a wrist-watch you were frowned upon as being irresponsible, and to some degree, without resources.

The concept of an iWatch would need to offer a measured and usable function for me to change my mind, and thus far I don't see that.

I do not wear watches any more, so no.

I don't wear watches at all and I don't see any value in a smartwatch.

It's funny how many people don't want a smart watch because they don't wear a watch in the first place, while I'm the exact opposite - I wouldn't want a smart watch because I do wear a nice mechanical watch every day. The difference though is that my watch does not require batteries, is beautiful to look at and does not bug me. It's annoying enough to get alerts for every silly reason on my phone, wouldn't want my watch to do the same :)

Not worn a watch since My Nokia 3310 had a clock and alarm on it, certainly not going to wear one now.
