Team Development Certificate?

@Brennenlb: So did you sign with the app's development certificate (bundled to the identifier) or your team development certificate (not restricted to the bundle id)?

When they say the xcodeproj file size should be under 50mb, do they mean just the single 49kb file or do they also want the folder where all of the assets are stored as well? Thanks and good luck to all!

I have everything done but im not sure, do they want me to go into the package contents of a Xcode archive to get the .app file? or do they want an ipa?
Also, for the xCode .zip, what if my project references local images and assets? Those will not be in the compressed zip, so how should I handle that?

I meet all requirements yet when ever I press "Apply now" I get a message saying

"Sorry, you’re not eligible for a scholarship.
To apply, you must be a full or part-time student, 13 years of age or older, and a current member of the iOS Developer Program, iOS Developer University Program, iOS Developer Enterprise Program, or Mac Developer Program. View your account status in Member Center or contact us if you need assistance."

What should I do, I spent a long time working on my Application. Any one have a solution or the same problem?

I am going to sign my app with an App Store profile or they won't be able to run my app on their devices. If you sign with a Development profile the app will only run on your account devices (your UDIDs). Apple wants to try the app, so they need like an App Store profile that can run on every device though. Correct me if I am wrong.

Sorry man, that's probably mean that you have renewed your Developer Account after Apple has announced WWDC. You needed to renew it before this date. Try to call Apple immediately and ask what they can do for you.

While this may be true, it is listed nowhere in the application rules, so the rules are in your favor. I also received this error message, and I contacted Apple with the Developer Assistance phone number. They let me speak to a senior supervisor who is currently resolving my case.

If you receive this error, call Apple and they should be able to help you if your case gets escalated.

So I've just submitted my app! :). For those of you who have yet to submit: It took over 10 minutes in my browser (my app has ~45 Mb), so don't be nervous when your browser will appear "stuck".

Hope for the best, and wish you all guys luck!

(Btw. I also used the App Store distribution profile. It seemed like the best choice, and if it won't work, they can make their build from the included project (though it would miss some images which are placed outside of the project folder)).

IPA vs. APP

Are you submitting .ipa or .app for iOS apps? (Xcode only seems to export .ipa)

.app is what they asked for. Good luck! I hope you grab a badge (As well as me) Haha!

Many people sent a .ipa file (also I). Where do you see that they require a .app file?
Anyway, the .ipa is a compressed .app, so they can double click it :)

Right, so do I have to just extract the .app from the .ipa?
Might this be a bit of a sneaky challenge set by Apple, to see who has actually thought about it? I'm a bit suspicious about apple with this - I'm really hoping I get a place!!

Good luck guys! :)

Just submitted....

Didn't realize the "How long have you been developing for iOS?" question wasn't something you had to type out, I had a whole paragraph in pages lol....
