That looks like a banner for Leapord....I'm assuming because the far right says platform....I don't know that I see anything speacial on there and I don't know if the blackbooks keys are backlit.....but I wouldn't mind it.

Now we're talking.

Wow, so many images. I can make out most of them, a few I can't quite figure out though. Can't see anything beyond the new 10.5 disc picture that shows anything of great importance - the sheer scope of the products and software shown suggests how big 10.5 could be.

The MacBook shown is just the standard black one, the lettering on the keys is white so it stands out and looks backlit.

I'm more interested in the 64-bit image, like, which machines are getting THAT. And some of the OS X icons look very interesting, a coffee cup, the thing beneath the Automator icon, and a few others. But yeah, I'm not sure about the Macbook backlit keyboard. It LOOKS like it, but it could be the angle of the photograph of the product. Always fun to speculate.

I also noticed the Blue and White ying/yang symbol to the far left....I thought it was a globe at first. I have never seen that before.

Coffee Cup = Java
Ying Yang = Universal Applications
Thing below Automator = I dunno... EDIT = it's xGrid.

Right, now there's not much at all I don't recognise, right down the end are a few logos too small to make out.

Love the new disk though, I wonder if that's what they're going to use? The WWDC image for the tiger disk was the brushed metal "X" from Panther on a tiger-skin background. It changed quite a bit before it was released.

Don't get too excited with the 64 bits logo.
Hell, Tiger sports 64 bits on my machine, still, my G4 never leaves 32bits mode... So that means that Leopard will keep support for the G5.

I'm not so sure about that. Look at the edges of the keyboard where there is no lettering. It has a lit outline. That is exactly what my illuminated keyboard does, and I'm fairly sure white lettering wouldn't give that impression.

It really looks like either a MacBook with an illuminated keyboard, a MacBook Pro, or some new computer that hasn't yet been released.

Leopard will definitely support PowerPC Macs... 10.6 most likely will, and 10.7 might support them. I'd put my money on 10.7 being the last PowerPC-supported Mac OS.

I think the more interesting part is that current Core Duo chips are 32 bit, IIRC, so this is more confirmation of next-gen chips.

I'm going to assume we won't be seeing a case redesign on the Mac Pro since the PowerMac G5 case is one of the biggest images on the poster. I suppose I could be wrong but why make it so huge if they are just going to change it on the first day of the conference.

Yeah, you might be right. It's late and I'm tired and the image is too small for me to make out any really clear detail but I can see the outlines you talk of. Ah well, just a few more days. I thought it was going to be on very early Wednesday morning but it's on very early Tuesday morning. I like a good surprise.

The iPod next to the iMac in the bottom lefthand corner.... is that a Nano? Looks kinda odd...

Definitely a nano, doesn't look all the funny to me, the perspective on the banner is skewing everything slightly.

How about OS XI (aka oh sexy) will be the first to NOT support PowerPC? I think that 11 is closer than we think. Isn't Apple interested in the ZFS file system? Aren't there rumblings of a kernal transplant?

These kinds of things would justify a new OS number imho. So that's a good place to drop PowerPC.
