iPhone X X owners, will you feel hosed by.. a X Plus next year?

Of course. Apple and the carriers want to make it as easy as possible for people to give them more money every year
No, because I'll be getting it. The X can hold me over for a year. I've been waiting for an edge to edge screen from Apple for years. I'll take what I can get for now.

IUP makes perfect sense if u plan 1-2 stepping the X to X plus. For sure
Nope as long as it doesn’t have the notch. Isn’t a small slab of a design.FaceID works better (without needing a swipe up). Upgrade in camera. More color options. Etc etc
Annual Upgrade Plan with my carrier takes away any previous concerns of what will be released next year, I’ll just simply upgrade to the latest and greatest every year.

Next year I’m pretty confident in the exact same design but with a plus model version. Of course the usual upgrades to camera, processor, gpu etc.

Apple is using the notch as a market differentiator. You can be virtually certain that a Plus size X will have it.
Given the circumstances, the X Plus will cost more than the iPhone X currently. And if you also look at Apple's mark up with the iPhone Plus over the regular models, it's more expensive. I believe the X Plus will cost $150 more than the current iPhone X in 2018.
I think the X plus makes a lot of sense for Apple and for many would be the grail device.
We know plus sized iPhones are highly prized, so if you simply fill that in with a full screen and a larger battery then you've got the phone that I would argue most iPhone users have been dreaming about for years.

Firstly no i wouldn't want a bigger iPhone X its already as big as it needs to be. Infact it will be nicer if it gets smaller whilst keeping the big screen.
Secondly, some of us are on carrier contracts (I'm with EE in UK) and have the option to upgrade their device yearly. Which I will be doing as my phone is on contract an i can upgrade my device every year.
So i wouldn't feel miffed about a better version of my X cause if i want it ill get it.
I have absolutely no interest in a bigger version. I'm a fan of small body big screen.
I wonder how they feels Face ID coming to the iPad Pro with NO mistake Notch.
