I really tried having a Samsung and iPhone. I really did, lasted one day with a note 10+ lol, missed all the little things about iOS. 😢
Android was never going to work for me, I tired it at least. 😂
I can’t get use to android. 🤦♂️😔 something about pinch to zoom & scrolling on iOS that really hits me in the feels. 🥰

Mine is the same. Especially reading black Text on white background shows the shift You describe. Still not sure whether this is "OLED-normal" or not...
Definitely oled, one of the many flaws with oled tech, what you’re seeing is off axis color shift. My mini led iPad leaves my oled iPhone for dead.
That's one thing that has never tickled my fancy. Foldable phone. I ain't got no time to use both hands to fold and unfold a device every two seconds. 🤣that's a BS in itself.

Foldable phones are good for video content. 😉😁😂 I know from now that these bad boys aren’t going to be cheap, especially when it comes to apple pricing. 🤦♂️

I have a 13 PM 1 tb. Battery life is good, at least 24 hours with normal usage.
My problem is that the phone gets really hot at times. For instance, when using Skype about ten minutes into the video call, the back of the phone got quite hot. Earlier today, on a FaceTime video call, 10-15 minutes into the call the video was gone and I had an exclamation mark in the center of the screen.
Do your phones get hot like this?

Are you using your phone with full brightness and outside in 80 plus degrees sunshine ? It so then it's normal. Especially with Skype.
It’s not just the off axis shift. I held the phone a few feet away to make sure of it. It’s definitely redder toward the bottom, bluer toward the top.
Last year was green, yellow, this year it's red, yellow, next year it's going to be aqua blue and yellow. 😁
That'll melt a phone in no time. Especially with screen full 1300 nits under bright sunlight and using Skype for video calls lol.
If you or anyone read the manuals. It recommends not using phones in bright sunlight for this reason. But who reads manuals ? 🤣
Or Timmy boy is penny pinching. 😁 I'm a simple man, give me a gorgeous display and for the love of god, fix this crappy slow safari across all platforms, been running like a pig, having to restart my modem, so it can speed up again.

My launch day device was exactly the same and I have returned it to Apple. Managed to get a replacement device from a third party seller which is noticeably better with no discernible colour shift. Bugged me big style on any white screen and worst I think in the Mail App. Tried ignoring it by using dark mode but I'm not a dark mode fan unfortunately.
Seems a common issue but not for all devices.

Today I got my new 13 Pro max. Compared to the three 12 Pro Max that I returned last year, the screen is definitely better, but the X's display still looks more vibrant and deep to my eyes. The 13 Pro Max is yellower than the X. Still deciding to keep it or keep the X for another year. My X has 4 years now, still like new with 87% of battery capacity. It is a tank.

Indeed. That was the reason why I returned three 12 Pro Max. I couldn't stand the yellow screens. All those 12 Pro Max that I had briefly, exhibited different shades of yellow hue, with raised blacks, and one of them with inconsistent hue across the screen. I really want a new iPhone but these latest screen versions really suck.
We will never know if apple is cutting corners by paying less for subpar displays, Samsung is giving apple their B grade panels or apple is deliberately calibrating these displays to a piss yellow tone. 🤔🤦♂️
I love my apple products, but when I see BS in front of me, I call them out, their displays haven’t been acceptable for a while.
Hope you’re reading this Tim Cook, get it together mate. 🙄 This Phone is 99.99999% perfection, would’ve been 100% if it wasn’t for these dehydrated piss yellow, red tint screens. 🤦♂️
