Let us know if the new one you get still has the same issue
The problem is that a new unit requires about 4 weeks to be delivered and I have no other iPhones to use in the meanwhile 😒

Any images of your devices. Would be nice to see some examples of „good“ displays/colors.My 14 Pro is perfect, but miss the larger form factor, so going Pro Max again. Mother-in-law gets the 14P. First Pro Max was uniform during regular daytime use, but at night when browsing web and lighter colored screens, with night shift enabled, the top right area by the DI turns pink / orange. Picked up another 14 PM yesterday, perfect this time.
Looks like based on this tiny sample size that uniformity / pink / orange hue is more of an issue than piss yellow tint. Progress, I guess? 🤣
Had the same thing. Not as much yellowing but really washed out text lacking contrast.Apologies for these being the worst photos ever, as they were taken with a webcam in PhotoBooth with only three seconds of timer prep time after clicking the capture button, since I was chatting with Apple Support at the time and they asked if I had any other device I could take a comparison photo with, and that was all I had at the time.
*takes breath*
However, in both photos you can see a color cast on the 14 Pro, compared to my previous 13 Pro. The 13 Pro in person does not look like it has more red in it. But the whites look tinged and in some cases a little muddy. I was showing my friend who was there when it was delivered, and comparing several different apps side-by-side, and in one (I think it was Settings or Calendar) he literally made the comment that the 14 Pro screen looked "old".

When you test this, remember to:Reports are already surfacing of a classic annual tradition in iPhone land - the dumping of yellow tinted reject screens on unsuspecting consumers.
This happens literally every year, since the iPhone 3G. Every. Year. without fail. Same tint. Same excuses from Apple apologists.
The fact is, not all iPhone 12 screens will be the same tint. Some will be more yellow/worse than others.
Weather or not you believe, as I do, that Apple intentionally relaxes tolerances to maximize yield for launch, here is what you can do:
The Test
The test is to open the Settings screen, with True Tone off, and dark mode off, 75% brightness. Compare to another phone on exact same settings. Which one is more yellow?
What to compare to
It probably already looks different than your old phone, which is why you are here. Something seems "off" about the new display. Compare to old phone. Yellow? Proceed to next step.
Compare to an Apple Display Phone
Use the same test criteria to compare to an Apple display phone. It either matches or it doesn't. If it doesn't, RETURN THE PHONE IMMEDIATELY.
Even the most blind Apple fanboi can admit - if it doesn't match the display phone, it must be defective.
Only you can stop Apple from dumping low grade panels on the masses.
Thank you.
EDIT TO ADD:
Examples of good, non tinted screens have been showing up in the thread. Here is one that was recently posted:

All of these are iPhone 12's, and one of them has a screen that is displaying content as it should. This is not an intentional warming, a move to 6500k white point, glue, or any other myth. This is a physical yellow, green, or pink tint layer that distorts all colors, washes out text, reduces contrast, and looks terrible.
Also, don't post the color filters hack, it doesn't actually work. It puts a layer of color between you and the screen, reducing brightness, and distorting other colors. You shouldn't have to solve for a yellow tint, so just take the phone back - reject it.
Finally, Apple isn't calibrating these screens, the suppliers are. Apple tells the suppliers the tolerance range it will accept. Those seem to be extra loose this year. So send a message that you want good QC by sending your phone back.
it looks good, but under the daylight with half brightness is not easy to evaluate.
Maybe try this image. It's 95% black. Try it in a dark room or without sunlight and go down with brightness. Then you can see if it's going into red, green/yellow tint.In the daylight t

Yeah, camera only captures so much. Mine looks uniform when in low light / low brightness as well. Maxing out the brightness and taking a photo makes the image washed out.In the daylight t

Tried this last night in bathroom, no tint at all on mine 👍Maybe try this image. It's 95% black. Try it in a dark room or without sunlight and go down with brightness. Then you can see if it's going into red, green/yellow tint.

Really? Did you notice the same thing in your unit?I believe the screen is fine. The 14pm appears to be brighter around the notch. I think the 12 was worse, the 13 was better.
The demos in my Apple Store look like this. I think the Belkin screen protector exaggerates the color shift. I believe you see this flaw in both phones. If you look at harthag perfect display you would see the same.In the daylight t

Yes and the demos at the New Orleans storeReally? Did you notice the same thing in your unit?
Yes and the demos at the New Orleans storeThank
Screen looks perfect. I see the same “tint” towards the bottom and top right. This seems to be the norm that goes unnoticed. I’m guessing you didn’t purchase a belkin screen protector?
Thank you!
This is possible, anyway m tu it has pink tint from 3/4 to bottom.
I can see it especially indoor, with poor lights ambient. Really don’t know if swap and start a new lottery (last I go through 4 changes) or not.
Check some out in store. Apple is best place for demos. You will notice the panels are consistent. Crank the brightness up and look for that pink tint. You’ve been through two phones with the same problem. Just look at white screen. Dark mode is a challenge to see under bright lights
