Spotlight is totally hosed for me. As soon as you try to invoke it from the icon, or by using the keyboard shortcut it just stops working and eventually disappears from the menubar. I tried reindexing, starting and stopping the spotlight service and removing any spotlight preferences files. Nothing has worked. Ah well. Unfortunately my dev account expired three days ago so I can't report bugs anymore. :(

All in all DP6 is a slight step back. DP5 was near flawless (besides the awful volume HUD) but DP6 broke quite a few things that were working fine (like handoff) while only introducing some icon changes

I haven't had any serious problems with OS X Yosemite.

Things I've noticed so far:
1. Tweeting from Notification Center makes it crash.
2. Safari always ask me to allow push notifications from sites I have already accepted to receive those notifications.
3. Finder does not longer hangs when dragging a picture from Safari to the desktop (The hang lasted for about 5 seconds).
4. New mail sound notification comes long after the e-mail has been received, which makes me think that I have received another e-mail. I think this *bug* is prehistoric, as if I remember correctly appeared circa 10.7 or 10.8.
5. Not all icons have the simple, flat appearance. Just take a look at the apps inside the Utilities folder.

On the other hand, I LIKE the way Yosemite looks and feels. Maybe a placebo effect, but I think it is a faster than Mavericks. I know there are things left unpolished, but I hope they will fix them by the time of the GM.

here
The address bar in Safari has a strange gray highlight over it. At first it covered about two thirds of the bar, now it's just highlighting whatever the address is. It only happens in full screen mode... weird.

EDIT: It reverts back to the "two thirds" mode after Safari is closed and reopened.

For now I'm using Path Finder as a finder replacement until I figure out a solution to this problem...

Yes! Had the same problem and reinstalled Yosemite by restarting, CMD+R then reinstall OS X. 20 minutes later it works just perfect! It verified installation and you have to log in to app store but everything worked as it should.

Also tried deleting plist before reinstalling but that didn't work.

I just noticed it was rolled back to PB1 when reinstalling...

You need to go PB1>DP5>DP6 for it to work properly. However, there are probably still some bugs... I hope the new PB comes out soon.

I can't start Parallels 9

Yes you can. Just run this in terminal first before starting parallels:

sudo /Applications/Parallels\ Desktop.app/Contents/MacOS/Parallels\ Service.app/Contents/MacOS/prl_disp_service -e

KEEP TERMINAL OPEN

Several errors will appear in terminal as you are running parallels, just ignore them. When you shut down parallels, terminal will return to a prompt. You can then shut down terminal.

Handoff still doesn't work, despite being correctly set up on laptop. Can call out (sometimes), but not receive and volume is low.

I have the same issue , actually the BT seems to connect when Handoff related application starts , but no icons appears , tried restarting several times with no solution. Also i call and send messages , but i cannot receive calls :(

From what I understand the beta's have to be the same in order for Handoff to work. So OS X Yosemite DP6 + iOS 8 DP6. The problem lies with the latter not being released yet.
