hard freezes

Since DP6, I am experiencing hard freezes — the system just stops responding, as if the CPU is in a permanent halt state. The display works, there is no graphical corruption. The only way to get out of it is a forced shutdown (using the power button). The funny thing is that the freezes happen exactly once per day. The times an be different (ranging from afternoon to evening), but I haven't had more then one per day yet.

Anyone else experiencing it? Other than that, DP6 is extremely stable and fast here.

actually is a very advanced intelligent system that prevents you from spending too much time on the internet.

Is it wrong to expect that there really should be only relatively minor issues at this stage?

You may also want to checkout enrolling Internet accounts via System Preferences. It always gives me an error message after input of login credentials. Also, in World Clock on Notifications, I only get a blank field whenever I try to add a location.

Weird crash, half working

This is my first time on the betas (DP6).
Some continuity stuff works... calling from mac, SMSing from mac, hotspot initiation.

But, I can't get any of the app handoff between my 5S and my Air going. Maybe the next release will fix it.

I do get a fun "cloudpaird" crash on Mac when I try to sign into iCloud on my Mac. It eventually seems to work though. The file lives here: /System/Library/CoreServices/

For whatever reason...Yosemite is not letting my Mac answer calls? SMS Relay seems to work however...But FaceTime tells me I must be signed into the same iCloud account as iMessage, when I click the box initiating the option...Dunno if this is due to a lack of beta 6 for iOS 8

Having an issue on my end. Crashing when trying to share to Facebook, twitter, and whatever. Not sure what's going on and this didn't happen in DP5

EDIT: Fixed when I restarted my Mac.

I can't change any of my iCloud settings and they are greyed out. It says enter your password to continue using iCloud. Entered password and nothing happens. Anyone else?


Edit: Fixed it after signing out 3 times.

Seems Safari has a major memory leak problem… not a Reddit thing, happens on MR too.

Edit: large background images seem to be the culprit, like at http://www.reddit.com/r/atheism/ An image of a few megapixels result in several gigabytes of memory consumption, which is immediatley seen in Menumeters and similar tools.

The graphic elements are not visible and the selected text is not readable when the "Reduce transparency/Increase contrast" is ON
I reported the issue via the feedback assistant
