Thanks for the explanation. I still don't get why the Minutely Forecast keeps saying Next Hour: No Data Available (both i the app and in the widget) while i have only one location set which uses GPS/My location. Do you know if this functionality is limited to the US only? I asked this before via an e-mail to BeWeather but never received a response.

The odd thing is that the radar in the app shows rain and when i look outside of course too. This is in the Netherlands. I now use a different Dutch widget for this which does actually show the minutely forecast and shows the amount of rain.

I am not sure about it being a "US only" thing. Since BeWeather2 uses Weather Underground, I don't think that it would be. You could test it to see it if it's just the weather station that you are connected to at the moment by checking from various locations around your vicinity.

They are using Forecast.io for the rain graph, looking at the sources listed in their API, that could be your problem.

I send an e-mail to Forecast.io too and mentioned a few weather source which are used for various Dutch apps and widgets. It would be great to have one app (BeWeather 2) for all my weather needs including minute by minute (rain) forecast.

The odd thing is also that i'm seeing now a radar which is showing a location somewhere in France (near Charlevile-Mezieres) for any location i select via GPS so e.g. Zwijndrecht, Dordrecht or Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht in the Netherlands. It does see local streets/locations but it seems that it doesn't pick up the correct GPS location in BeWeather. Other weather apps i use do not have this issue.

I'm digging also BeWeather 2 (there is also a free version with ads and lacks Slide Over/Split) but don't use the customisation as far as text/icons are concerned. I do like that you can choose which features you want to show in the app or widget. I also mentioned this in the topic which C DM mentioned.

Quite a few free ones and some paid ones have free versions that are slightly limited in some ways but are mostly the same.

You can with e.g. BeWeather 2 free version as i mentioned. I have used the free version for quite some time before i decided to buy the 'real' paid version to support the developer and remove the ads and get a few more nice iOS9 features.

I'm shocked as to how much information the majority in this thread has in a weather app. I prefer minimalism and therefore Authentic Weather works just fine.

I've tried several weather apps and I like some more than others but BeWeather2 is by far my favorite due to the MANY different custom advantages it provides.

I like Storm too. But it uses the same data, so of course, haha. Fresh Air and Dark Sky both use Forecast.io, and I don't know what MyWeather uses, but it's nicely done.

The big difference with BeWeather is that it shows a lot of useful data on just the one screen. You have the radar, the outlook for the next six hours, the next two days, the rain amount, and whatever you want in those slots at the top.

There's nothing wrong with AccuWeather, The Weather Channel, Yahoo Weather, and some of the others, but they push their branding and various services in your face when all you want to know is the weather for today and tomorrow.

I see Be Weather 2 has a complication for the watch. Nice. I have been using Carrot. I am always open to competition. The app has a lot of features. Thank you.
