Hello,
I was thinking and had a lot of questions about iOS 10 and I am sure you do as well. I thought we could ask questions and if someone knows the answer, they can share it with all of us. Hopefully this way there won't be millions of threads asking specific questions :)
Here are mine:
  • If a device does not have Touch ID, how do you unlock it? All ways to slide prompt specific actions.
  • I don't know if this was mentioned in the keynote, but has Notification Center changed?
  • What happens when you remove an app that has a launcher in Control Center?
  • Are the lock screen "widgets" the same on all devices? For example, will my 6s notifications act and look the same as my iPad's?

Here is some information regarding the notification center: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...ages-app-rich-notifications-and-more.1977118/

"On the lock and home screen side of things, Apple debuted a new "rich notifications" system that lets users get more information from various apps without unlocking their iPhone. The update will also introduce a "clear all" feature for Notification Center notifications, and a way to access the iPhone's camera and widgets by sliding left or right, respectively, from the lock screen."

1. You unlock by pressing the home button instead of sliding.
2. Yes
3. The button disappears on Control Center.

Just tried this - it removes the toggle for the app in Control Center, so if you remove one app that has a toggle in there, you will have only three toggles in Control Center. If you re-download the app, the toggle will be re-added.
Thanks guys!!

That makes much more sense. Thanks for the info

Are Apple Music tabs (For You - Browse - Radio) not removable or at least re-arrangeable? I don't use Apple Music and have actually set it OFF in Settings, but perhaps this is a glitch?

Are there any new live wallpapers? Bubbles or otherwise?

Is there a dark mode?

There is at least one new Live Wallpaper. I think? I used to use the blue "cloudy" one, and now there are purple and white ones as well. Purple may have been there before but I am fairly certain the white one is new.

Can I send these interactive iMessages to IOS 9 devices?

Nope. The emoji replacement feature will work, because its just emoji. But I tried sending "animated" messages (loud, invisible ink, etc) as well as digital touches to iOS 9 users and the messages simply went undelivered. No error, but the recipient did not get them and I got no "delivered" notification within the app on my end.

1. Do developers get to enable Picture in Picture for newer video containers(mainly mkv)
2. How do 'Rich Notifications' work for non-3DTouch devices
3. Do spotlight suggestions still exist
4. Can we search widgets in the new Notification Center
5. Does the photos app get any of iPhoto's advanced editing tools. (Yes I'm aware Live Photos can now be edited. Not what I mean)

Regarding Message App, did they enhance the group messages there in anyway? I think the individual messages now beats Whatsapp and the rest, but the group messaging needs some organization and more options..

I believe those have been there since iOS 9.
