iPod touch 1.1.3 Jailbreak Status

I pitched them the first day. Same ones I had on my other ipod. Get a good pair, and you will notice a difference. A Sony pair in black and Bose now has a new set. Both are great and match the Touch. How anal is that?
Why is it pointless again ?! Jailbreaking helps you get apps for free. That's all i need.
I said almost pointless. Besides, if developers are able to set their own prices for the applications, it is likely that some well simply set it as free.
Speaking of which, what kind of prices do you think we should expect to pay for apps? many people say installer will be obsolete now but if you can get an app for free vs similar one for a price then I know which I'll go for!
i don't get it, why do we want to wait for the SDK... why do we want to pay for apps rather than get them for free?
The SDK should allow for better programs to be made, easier. It also means they will be more like official apps you buy for your mac or pc, rather than freeware you might find on the internet.
However, quality = money. If developers put a lot of time into it they might feel it neccessary to charge you for it. Some people are happy to pay for quality, others will prefer to stick with installer.app who's apps may not be as good. And finally there's those who will attempt to get the quality apps that cost, for free

wish this sdk release would hurry I am itching to upgrade to the new features lol Yes I know upgrade to 1.1.3 and buy the upgrade then but if I do that I dont get my lovely apps I have already
freeware you find on the internet for PC or Mac are made with SDKs too.
Except that the touch is a closed platform that doesn't have any existing distribution model in place. It's perfectly possible that Apple will require apps be distributed through iTMS and that there would be a minimum/maximum price structure in place.

The EASIEST way is to go to http://www.jailbreakme.com (on a clean 1.1.1 install) and click "Install AppSnapp" and then wait until your iPod resets...then reset it again and youll have installer.app.

whats the happening with this jailbreak? I seem to be seeing more and more vids appearing on youtube showing a jailbroken 1.1.3
It's been done, but thet are waiting until the end of febuary to release it with the SDK.
