if you right click on the "activity monitor" icon in the dock you can choose from the "monitors" sub menu a "floating" CPU windows that can be dragged anyplace on the desktop..
I don't remember if SL has it as well... in case it does... apologies!
If you scroll over an app in the dock you can see the last open files of this app.
BTW: how can I attach a screenshot to my post so that it's just a picture and not an Imageshack link?
When posting a new post/thread in the compose window at the top there is a paper clip icon:
View attachment 274157
That takes you to a screen where you can upload the image. Once you have uploaded all the images you want (maximum of 5 per post) close that window and then press the paper clip icon again where you want to insert your image into a post and it will put the required code in for you.
Or see this guide

That's ****ing awesome!
Some people just drop right into a thread without having read the last 20 pages, don't they?
There's no way Apple will leave this keyboard shortcut as the only way to remove apps from Launchpad. I bet next beta will feature a much user-friendlier and more intuitive way to customize one's Launchpad.
Anyone knows how to delete an empty folder in lauchpad?
Read through all the previous posts starting from page 1 and they'll answer these questions.
Okay I figured out how to get rid of Folders in Launchpad. Just drag an app into an empty folder and then drag it back out.
I've noticed when changing names of new folders Launchpad crashes every time. After that first crash you can change the name just fine.
Lion is a bit buggy, but for a first public release I have seen worse.
Well, if you're an actual Mac developer, you can dowload Xcode and various SDK's. If you bought an ADC account just for Lion, you'll get access to every developer build as well as the GM. And right now you can also download Snow Leopard and Snow Leopard Server.
That's a feature of Fast User Switching, has absolutely nothing to do with the method of installation. I think it's off by default.Yeh I've seen all those "candys" in Developer Site...
And people, I've noticed a slightly difference between the pirate one and that from Apple: My name appears right there in Menu Bar next to the clock.
Thats not very friendly. Yes the answer might be there but for some just joining the thread there is really quite a lot to trawl through.
Lukeit, this post looks like it will help:
With Magic Mouse it does not work... if I scroll I get the same result as clicking and keeping clicked on the dock icon: it brings up all the open files linked to that app.
How did you do it?
All the little things... And Bugs!

Folks I know this question have been already answered a thousand times...but where?! So many threads... How can I bring back Users/Library folder?...
