OT: Hey antmarobel, just wondering if you've got a link to your wallpaper by any chance? Cheers

As for the little things, Lion now behaves differently when using externals as reported by 9to5mac

Central Brazil hellomoto. As a matter of fact it's mine. I took the shot in a cousin's farm in Goiás state countryside about 200 km from Brasilia.

So does mine

It's broken in some languages apparently. Actually, there are many cosmetic bugs on my French 10.7, which weren't present before the update. For instance, the width of buttons does not always adjust to their content.
That's a regression.

But otherwise, responsiveness is improved, notably scrolling is smoother in safari and Preview.

Will do, no dramas.

As for what's new in DP2 Update 2, the downloads button also shows a progress bar (albeit an ugly blue one) when a download is active:

Is Lion very slow on finding the right place on a previous page in safari? Very much like Snow leopard and ios. Takes forever until it autoscolls down to the place you last read on the webpage.

If you log out or shutdown your computer with an app in fullscreen mode (ex. Safari) and then log in again and let it resume all the apps and spaces, Mission Control gets really buggy.

Question: In DP1 and the original DP2 builds, Quick Look didn't scale images up when the HUD was larger than the image. Has this changed back to the Snow Leopard behavior in the latest update?

I don't know if it's just me, but this second update to Developer Preview 2 that was just released seems substantially more buggy than the last, which had squashed a lot of bugs. Safari seems to crash every 3 minutes, and is especially prone to do so if I view the new downloads window. The dock has frozen up a few times just in the last hour, and I've had to kill the Dock.app process.

Having the same problem of Takuro. Updated DP2 and now Safari crashes constantly, cannot even launch it. Now switched to Chrome, which works ok, but must be forced to quit.

Anybody could help me fixing this?
Thanks,

That's odd. My Safari has been working relatively fine since DP1.

Not that I know of. You could reinstall Lion, but I doubt that would change anything. What machine are you running it on?
I am running it on a Macbook Pro ;2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo;2 GB 1067 Mhz DDR3 ;Late 2008 15 in
I would appreciate any help

Did clean install on a new partition, and Safari worked fine until I downloaded iWork 09 (not even installed). Probably the new "autosave" and "versions" features of OS X LION are in conflict with the "old" version of iWorl 09. Problem though is that I can`t launch Safari again.

I also noticed that Mail uses a new mail format "mbox.mbox" not compatible with the current one ".mbox".

11A444d was buggy as hell for me on my 2011 17" MBP. It seemed whenever I had iTunes and Mail open at the same time, it would lock up. First Mail would becoming unresponsive, then iTunes would follow, then everything after that just refused to do anything. Tried opening System Preferences, "Application is not responding", Activity Monitor, "Application is not responding" "Finder is not responding".

I should note however that I did try to use an iTunes library from a SL drive, so perhaps that's what caused the issue. But after deleting the iTunes library, the problem still seemed to persist. Restored back to DP2 11A419 and the problem is gone. Also had the issue with Facebook chat and iChat not showing proper names, but numbers instead.

Don't know if this has been posted before, but in 11A444d, anybody else notice the new Apple Boot logo? Now seems to be embossed. Definitely changed since 11A419.

Also had/am having a fair bit of trouble with Spaces. After adding/removing Spaces, it seems the new Spaces are just "blank" and really glitchy. There's no wallpaper for them, it's got the same textured background as Safari when you scroll too far, usually requires a restart to be fixed. Perhaps a known bug, just thought I'd mention it. Also some troubles assigning certain applications to some Spaces. Currently only using four spaces. I like to have Finder on every space, but when I do, it's literally on every space, including the dashboard (normal?), and it seems to flash in/out when switching between Spaces. I much preferred how old Spaces dealt with this.

Anybody else with a Magic Mouse notice double tapping (two finger double tap on trackpad) on a webpage zooms in like iOS? I'm sure it's been posted here, but who can blame me for not reading 29 entire pages? :)

About this Mac has really improved, even showing a graphic of RAM slots!

Click "More info...." in About this mac to view.

Thats one of the better GUI improvements I have seen in the many screens I have looked at thus far.

One thing I wish Lion would provide is a way to keep the window different for different monitors. When I plug my MB into a monitor I want the window to be much bigger, but it still shows it the same size it was on the laptop.

My explanation was a bit of a mess, but hopefully you'll understand what I'm trying to say.

11A444d was buggy as hell for me on my 2011 17" MBP.

Yes, this has been my experience on a 2011 15" MBP. I can't leave Safari and Mail open and walk away from the computer without the whole system freezing. I haven't really found a good way to correct it either. You have to do a hard restart, but Lion wants to load the same windows you had open when you restarted and ends up freezing again after restart. So I end up having to hard reset again and the next time it loads it asks me if I want to cancel the windows opening. UGH :(
