This is what happens when I try to play some Flash video (not every time)
http://cl.ly/2p3o1A1a1P2j3Z0z472W

and when I force a shutdown and get back now I'm receiving this pop up, this is new for me

http://cl.ly/1u140J1f2E3B2t0T0O3x

I have the same exact thing happening to me. Except it's not only Flash video, it's HTML5 too. Worse yet, it's even happened to me when watching a video through Quicktime X. It must be a compatibility issue with the graphics card in various Macs. It should get ironed out soon...hopefully..

Fine volume and brightness adjustments (Holding Shift-Opt while pressing volume/brightness keys) are back in Mountain Lion! :)

This is not new to 10.8, it should work fine in Lion or at very least in the next update to Lion (10.7.4), which also fixed the "restore windows when restarting" bug.

well this hasn't worked since lion was released so even if they fix it with the next update its been broken for a while.

First off, just in case anyone missed it, I edited my last post several times to add new things. But since that's 2 pages back now, I'm posting here. :)

There's a new iCloud setup screen when adding a new user, rather than just popping up iCloud in System Preferences like in Lion. It's shown when the user logs in for the first time. Clicking the link to use a different account for iTunes than for iCloud has another login screen in between.

Fantastic! It's lame how we have to buy two operating systems to get this feature back...

I can confirm that 10.7.4 has this feature and the "Restore Windows" uncheck does work.

Yeah it feels like that. Overall it feels much smoother. The only 'problem' for me is Mission control. I never really liked that and want an option to change that back to the old Expose.

A-to-the-m-e-n!

Grapher, DigitalColor Meter, Disk Utility, and Keychain Access don't support Full Screen. Grapher doesn't have resume, but does have "Save As"!

It would be useless to have DigitalColor Meter running in full-screen. It is supposed to always tell you the color values of the pixel your cursor is pointing at. It's utterly ridiculous to have it in full-screen.

True, but other apps in the Utility folder would make use of Full Screen and Resume, such as Grapher.

Oddly specific question in regards to ML Setup Assistant... Does anyone know if you can connect Mountain Lion to a WPA2 Enterprise network, right out of the box?

My university uses WPA2 encryption, which requires a username and password, which Macs don't support during inital setup. (But iOS devices do, on the other hand.)

My mac did it right out of the box. It was snow leopard back then, and it carried over to Lion.

I'll let you know about that this evening if someone else doesn't know first.

I just gained access to the beta through a developer here on campus. I'll see if I can try running the Setup Assistant again later today and get an answer. As of right now, I'm putting my bets on 'no.'

Which sucks. I don't understand why a username field can't be included during Wi-Fi setup. If iOS does it, why can't OS X? Would make the life of a campus IT guy much easier...

I guess thisnis kind of noob but how do we get ML now? And i wonder if they realese a comp a out few weeks after that. Cause i have been waiting for a time now. Im so exited.

New in 12A193i, the revised version of DP3 that came out today:

- Option-clicking notification center in the menubar gives it a new crescent-moon icon. In this mode, you can temporarily turn off notifications in "do not disturb" mode.

- Notification center has a much larger dot in the center. This makes it much more prominent when the dot changes state to signify that a new notification had recently been triggered.

- There's a new "gear" icon near the bottom of the Notification Center that automatically brings you into System Preferences's "Notifications" pane.

- The "ripple" effect has returned to Dashboard when Dashboard is being used as an overlay rather than as a space. The new animation is present only if Dashboard is set to display as a space.

New folder called "Other" in launch pad... crap like DVD Player, stickies, image center and chess. All stuff I believe Apple is going to remove by summer release is in there.
