Just wondering, but does Spotify work with 10.9?

Looks to work great

Can someone please test (and post a screenshot) if you're able to place (and receive) FaceTime Audio calls from Mavericks?

I haven't yet seen support for it

----------

Wow they're really Windows 8-ing up OS X now ... hopefully the notifications are more reliable than they are there! 8 seems to just forget about them a lot of the time.

I really want Apple to add notifications like hardwaregrowler has so I can replace that

----------

Hmm, any one got their Viber and Skype crashed on 10.9 ? :(

I have a feeling Apple has changed some Audio or Video frameworks both need a bug fix update quick

Definintely, another app that uses the audio framework has also crashed. Can't stand either viber or Skype but hey.... I am not the boss.

OT: You can use jabber transport instead of skype client - You can have all protocols transported through jabber and have them in iMessages.app ;)

PS:Is Warcraft III working?

Does extra finder works? Can you open finder tabs with a middle click? Can you see tabs side to side, like in extra finder or total finder?

Did anyone tried if autocad 2013 works?

----------

What about general speed while working? Better, worse? Thanks!!!

Maybe they should replace Linen with Translucent Gaussian Blur. I think i'd be down for that.

I woukd like that. Launchpad is the only utility that looks good. MC and NC got deforstalled but a Launchpad look would be lovely.

Ive always used Entourage/Outlook instead of the default Mail app so I am not very familiar with it. When replying to an email or forwarding, is it common for Mail to not include the email trail with it?

When I do a reply/forward Mail is including the first line of the last email that was on the trail and thats all; no matter how long the trail - 1 email or 10.

Found another thing with Mavericks, don't know if its already been mentioned, when you install a new application a little glow appears around the icon. as you can see in my screenshot.

Tags Questions

- Does Tags allow you to edit the default colors of the tags? (I consider the default colors to be unusable and thus am stuck with Labels X in 10.6.8.)

In List View:
- Does Tags function in a similar manner to Labels, where the whole line changes color?
- Can you color the file/folder icon AND/OR the line?

Thanks!!

Unfortunately not, you're stuck with the fixed pallet of colours like in previous versions of OS X.

The tag colour only appears next to the file/folder name. It doesn't colour the whole line:

PS:Is Warcraft III working?

Ooh good question. ML killed it at first, but I think it started working again with one of the point point releases? Very little experience there but it would be nice to know! I imagine littlewing pinball games still don't work - they actually started putting "OS X 10.1 to 10.7 compatible" on their site rather than doing updates :(; hard times for developers like that.

@MacReloaded: Thanks for response about MAS looks. I still can't fathom their strategy with having a few holdouts from the idea of a consistent GUI that has seemed -just- out of reach since Panther. We got unified scrollbars when they just removed scrollbars, but why the store apps have to look ugly is beyond me.

@SkyBlue: Awesome summary.

It works on ML, but you have to run it from:
/Applications/Warcraft III/The Frozen Throne.app/Contents/MacOS/The Frozen Throne

Otherwise it crashes but if you start it this way it works great! :)

Just drag it to your dock.
Great summary. For brevity I condensed your quote.

No. It just shows a dot at the end of the name column.

And unlike labels, files can have multiple tags which are shown as multiple dots, which is why they had to change the appearance.

I would love to, but the installer is 32-bit and can therefore not be used. I have a Windows 7 partition just for the sake of playing the game once in a while.

The installer is PCC, but game itself is universal -
It works if you have installed it in Snow Leopard / copied installed working game from somewhere and updated to 1.21e and higher(universal path). It might be possible to install It manually via pacifist but I don't know :(

What's the problem with holding option before clicking on Save, so that it acts as "save as"? How does that mess a work flow? You can also change the hotkey so that it is just as easy as hitting command-s.

Thats not the problem. Locking and unlocking files so that versions doesn't hold the temporary edits when the file is reopened is the problem. I am constantly checking and editing files sometimes making a change or an edit to compare and I have no desire to save that file so I close without saving changes... however when I am ready to save I prefer the old command save. I really would like to simply disable versions either by app or globally. Don't get me wrong I like it for some apps just not all. I was hoping for more customization or the ability to switch. I already have the hotkey re-mapped.
Thanks
