10.9 All the Little Things!

Don't know if this was pointed out. Videos can posted in photo stream. The video appears iOS 7 devices as well as the public cloud site. Limited to 5 min.
 
Can anyone compare performance of Team Fortress 2, Dota2, or similar games on 10.8.4 and Mavericks?

Does the better OpenGL performance lead to better frame rates?

Hi guys,

I heard a lot that wonderful smooth scrolling. I'm just interested in the overall smoothness of Mavericks compared to ML. Is scrolling only smooth as silk using safari / mail, or if every scrolling-windows (Preview, Finder, ...) got smoother scrolling. And what about the OS X GUI animations (changing window size, Mission Control, Launchpad, switching spaces, etc.)? Any improvements in smoothness here compared to ML?

Just noticed that Photo Booth has a few changes to the backgrounds. For example, the moon "background" now turns you into a hologram, and the clouds "background" makes you look like you are using a cloaking device. These two examples no longer make it look like you are on the moon or in the clouds, so it is kinda of pointless/misleading to show those pictures. The entire top row in this screenshot is more like effects.

Mac SE/30

I have been running Mac OS 5.0 on my SE/30 for the past twenty-five years. Is there any chance I can update it to Mavericks?

It has to be the actual one used in the OS X/Windows app or as it look, a similar iOS 7-ized version of it, because it purpose, at the moment, is to tell you to connect the device to the computer so the app open and do its thing.

They took the time to adjust their backgrounds, but they still can't remove those hideous curtains from the full screen Photo Booth... :rolleyes:

I'm sure it'll get its de-skeudomorphization in due time. They still need to fix reminders and Game Center as well.
