Using it on a 2009 Unibody white MacBook with 4GB.

After 10 minutes using Safari with the accelerated scrolling I never ever want to have to go back.

When they say it's faster, it actually is. This thing feels like a brand new machine and I didn't even do a clean install.

EVERYTHING is smoother, slicker and just plain BETTER.

"Later this year" can't come soon enough for my main laptop.

Is Save As back? And have they modified the versions and or save as since 10.8? 10.8 currently messes with my work flow and I hope they go backwards some.

Thanks

It came back in ML already. I assigned the custom shortcut for "all apps"
:D

It seems the trashcan no longer makes any noises.

Also, I have gained lots of additional storage space space on my MBA 2012! I had around 7GB free in Mountain Lion and I now have 21GB in Mavericks! :D

Not only can a fullscreen app be put next to dashboard, as mentioned previously, but everything is fully independent, even dashboard itself:

New Character Viewer that pops up when pressing the hotkey #:

Scrolling up reveals a search field (or just start typing), and the button next to it can be used to switch back to the old-style character viewer

New in System Preferences -> Accessibility: Captions & Switch Control:

Also, the checkbox "Enable access for assistive devices" is gone!
Which means I can't get my window manager (Moom) to work.

Furthermore:
* In Messages, smilies are auto-corrected to their corresponding emojis
* New Messages notifications show contact photo
* Spotlight Comments in Finder's Info panel has been replaced by Tags, Comments is now an additional section
* Finder Preferences lets you manage your Tags, and also customize Favorites (the favorites are the tags that show up in the context menu)
* Also new in System Preferences: Input Languages redesigned and moved to Keyboard Settings, Language & Region also redesigned

Mission control finally let's you move desktop 1 now to where ever you want it.

You mean it doesn't get renamed? Does this mean your computer can boot straight to a desktop other than the leftmost one, and that the default background picture for new desktops will be copied from Desktop 1, even if it's the 3rd desktop in the row?

When you're updating or installing from the MAS is there any progress bar in finder?

Right click will pop up a new menu, with "service" hiding set as wallpaper option.

Mine still makes trashing noises.

So you want two bars: one on the launch pad or one on finder? Or I'm missing something. When you install, the progress bar is located on the launchpad icon.

You got it! Actually, Launchpad doesn't really need it, it makes more sense for it to be in finder so I don't have to watch a DL in Launchpad or in the Mac App Store.

But, I wouldn't mind it in both places. They got bring it eventually.

Right click will pop up a new menu, with "service" hiding set as wallpaper option.

If you right click on your desktop is it hidden in services too?

I've a problem with Safari and Flash. I'm trying to watch youtube videos but Safari asks me for the Flash plugin. I download and install it but always gets the same problem. That's not the last version of flash try to download from the oficial website. I go to the web again and download it but doesn't work.

Anyone knows how to resolve it?

Maybe I don't understand what you mean by that, but in 10.8 you can hit "command-option-F" to search for a note in the notes app. Same thing in mail to search all inboxes.
No. Go to your edit menu...

There was time I used OSX Notes extensively. Most notably in 10.6 because it behaved pretty much like text edit. Now, other than jotting down a grocery list to sync with my phone it's pretty much worthless.

I may have missed this if it was mentioned...

In Safari, I can use a two finger swipe to page forward and back, but swipe forward and back doesn't seem to be working with my magic mouse.

Mavericks now supports fully 128 gig of ram (mentioned in Core Technologies Overview), I believe it is currently capped at 96 gig. Ironically the new Pro will not be able to hold 128 gigs of ram until 32 gig ram dimms are available, or are very pricey (haven't looked at availability). The previous gen with dual cpu had 8 ram slots.
