MMS is currently working on my phone in the US with AT&T.

I noticed when sending out a text to multiple recipients, the message sends as a group MMS. Any message that gets replied back to my group SMS stays in the same conversation as the original group SMS I sent out and doesnt get placed in a seperate SMS conversation.

Each message has the name from the person who sent the reply to the group MMS. Attached is a screen shot that shows the feature better.

Can you describe in more detail how you were able to do this? I cannot replicate your experience... Thanks.

I've got the battery % on my iPhone with OS 3.0 GM. Though I had previously jailbroken mine to show it. Now I get the battery percentage and the bar. Looks odd with both..
Yeah I don't have the percentage bar and im on the 3.0 GM, anything I'm doing wrong?

The Applications you downloaded are locked to the device you bought them on now. That is the only device that can re-download them for free.

This prevents you from giving me your username and password and allowing me to get your apps for free, along with 100 other people. There is no protection on the iPhone to limit the number of times an app can be downloaded, however iTunes will check to make sure that your computer is one of the 5 authorized computers for your account. It's all about ensuring each purchased app is only on your authorized devices (sync'd by computers you've authorized).

This wasn't a problem until 3.0 which allows you to log into multiple accounts on your iPhone.

Try downloading a new application to that device. Then delete it. You can re-download it directly to the device for free.

This appears to be only partially true. I have only ever had one iPhone. Best I can tell is if you download it on your phone you can download it again for free. If you download it on your desktop you can not download it on the phone for free regardless of whether its been installed on zero, one or 10 iPhones.

Do we know if your calendars now match the same colours as your iCal? And if we change the calendar colour in iCal does it update on the iPhone as well?

Thanks :)

ok, i did this with google calendars and these were my results. you do get different colors but they don't match up. on my PC birthdays were red but on the iPod they were green. also when i changed which calendar the event was on on the iPod, it also changed in google calendars.

Thats funny...I don't have that icon..does everyone have that icon but me?

what country are you in? he/she is in the UK (you can tell by the carrier). this is not available in the U.S.

I don't have it and thats why I'm asking for further information...

They probably don't have AT&T carrier profile 4 loaded on their iPhone, because if it is then you won't have any MMS capabilities of any kind.

auto correct for other languages

I dont think OS 2.0 did not have this feature.
As you can see from the image, the phone tries to auto-correct Korean words if anyone can read it.. haha...

I dont know if its covered and i guess it really isnt a feature but when you type the f-bomb it no longer vehemently tries to correct it with Duck, same for some other expletives

everybody save yourself the time and pass on trying to get mms to work. I got tethering working, but we're all better off just waiting for ATT to get it up and running.

When using edit to delete new mail, the new message blue dot appears on the left as well as the delete dot, so you can see what's unread.

Ha, I was just about to post this one. Hadn't seen it posted before, handy little feature.

If you have emoji enabled on 2.2.1, it will be enabled on 3.0 when you upgrade.

If it's not, then use one of the many apps in the Appstore to enable it.

Oh, they're enable alright! I just don't want 3.0 taking them away from me. Sounds good. Thanks.

Whats this little phone next to at&t?

Anyone fiddled around with Bluetooth yet? Can you connect to other phones (not iPhones) and send images/media/contacts or MUST you MMS them?

I'd heard we were getting a big update to the Bluetooth stack?
