These do look nice, but I think they’re mainly for scratches and not really meant for drop protection — unless I’m mistaken. This brand and Peel look interesting. Have you used Totallee before?
Yes. I've tried them. Awesome for scratch protection: never had a scratch because of the case, not internally or externally.

Wouldn't want to drop my phone with this case on though.

I usually get a case and screen protector.... I might look at the screen protector for the back, but then I might want something to protect the camera.... I don't get AC on the phone usually, mine are always in mint condition.....

How well does a back screen protector work?

Have you found a back screen protector yet? I'm looking for one myself.

It's always been hard to find screen protectors for the rear, so I always turn to @dbrand. You can either purchase a wrap for the rear and camera slot but I normally go with wrapping the whole phone to prevent scratches. I haven't dropped my 13 Pro with the wrap on, so I don't know how that holds up, but kinks on the table and stuff have been a solid saver having the wrap.

This year [ since the 14 pro series wraps won't be out in time ] I ordered a thin case from Totallee just until the wraps @dbrand are fully available.

I agree — rear glass protectors don’t seem to be a thing. And the camera lenses seem to be pretty strong.

I did what I always do…bought AppleCare, an Apple leather case, and a clear spigen case. And as usual. In a couple of months it will be naked with just my MagSafe pop socket on it.

I don’t know why I bother buying cases lol. But I always do and always end up caseless.

Rear protectors don’t really stick to the back because it’s frosted. They stuck when the rear was not frosted. I had one for my iPhone X.

What about non glass rear screen protectors?

I can’t speak to the RhinoShield in particular, but for my 11 Pro I tried one, and it looked like crap and did not adhere well.

So technically what you're saying is either get something like a Dbrand skin for the back or just let it go, right?

So when will apple replace the phone? I thought they repair front and rear glass cracks?

Naked + credit card cell phone protection

I usually only baby my phone until the first scratch, and from then I don’t care anymore. I’ve dropped my iPhone 12 PM a lot and it has been going strong for 2 years.

And even after 2 years and full of scratches, T-Mobile is fully replacing mine because for some reason in their system it says mine is unlocked but it isn’t.

First time going without a case. Got AppleCare this time around.
Always wished I could use the phone without a case.
Got a screen protector for the front.
I always go case-less and the only time I've ever broken a phone was the one time I had a Galaxy and cracked the screen. I don't baby my phones by any means and have never broken a screen or any other aspect of the iPhone.

I used to be diligent about protection. Now I just don’t really care. I get a new phone every year, so I’ll always have a new one coming soon.

The only time I’ve ever damaged an iPhone was a tiny corner crack in my 6 Plus after a drop.

Always naked. I’ve had every iPhone since the 3G, and only one I’ve ever not used naked was the 6 (??), which was slippery as all get out. I got a bumper after a few weeks.

Beyond not wanting to cover the beauty, the 6.1” size is already on the cusp of too large for me to use one-handed, and a case will push it over the edge.

BTW, the stainless steel sides on this model help with grip.

The only case I liked using were the bumpers for the iPhone 4.

I’ve looked if they still make similar ones, but they all seem to also have a back protector, rather than just going around the edges.

It would be nice if someone made something like that bumper. Seems to be a nice compromise.
