It's option. Don't worry if you click the wrong button because you have to confirm anyway. If you option-click you'll get a file dialog asking you to pick the firmware, anything else and you'll get a dialog asking restore yes or no.

damn right!!! also, i assume your last restore will still be there (did backup today) so you can always restore to that later today/tomorrow/whenever and update the "correct" way :0

So lets confirm you have downloaded the 2.0 software and installed it and its working ok on you 2g iPhone??

Also is your iPhone Jailbroke or is it lagit?

yeah, i synced this morning, when i was playing around with it it showed i had a restore point at 7:59, so i'll be good if it botches.
