After reading this, I tried too. I was polite but frustrated, told the Apple lady, she just kept saying she was sorry, i was not imoressed with that. Said she had no way of knowing what was causing the delivery exception, once it was in the carrier's hands it was out of Apple's. I told her it was a poor way to handle online orders from a company as big as Apple. She offered me nothing but I'm sorry. Like I said, never again. I meant I would go to a store. Apple Store is about 75 mikes away but Walmart sells iPads. Anyway, hope the $100 credit works for others.Ha ha - well put. I'm in the same boat - a little pissed that when I placed the order it showed "next day", only to discover it's coming on a slow boat from China, so to speak. I did call Apple - mainly just to see why it had changed. The rep was very apologetic and said I needed to be compensated for the inconvenience and $100 was credited back to my card. I don't mind waiting a few extra days for some savings!
