Blue/16gb/2tb and oops yes I did order the white magic keyboard for my 12.9 I am checking now to see if it charged. I forgot about it.
I mean the magic keyboard for iPad Pro.
I order the silver iMac with 16GB and 256gb storage, and you?
Ok I just checked that's strange no charge yet on the keyboard but Apple says Delivery 21st-27th. I wonder if they have them produced and locally placed for delivery.

I think so. Same for the European delivery. All my items are in processing and have 21srt-28th for delivery. I hope the will start soon to ship, I’m getting nervous and I can’t wait and hate it ?

It's weird, I have UPS My Choice, but all I get is the attached view. Clicking "View Details" just shows the package weight, tracking number, etc. Are you all able to see exactly where your package currently is?
In the app I get a “shipment progress” option that shows each scan. I also have a UPS business account.

I've noticed that the UPS shipment progress details are shown differently when checking a shipment online, using a browser, vs using an app on the phone or iPad. If I recall correctly, the app shows more details. Strange that it seems to work that way.

Edited to add my own status:
The custom config iMac entered into the shipping prep status for shipment to US.
Config is Blue/16GB/1TB/Keyboard + Trackpad

The standard config one is still processing.

Yeah, annoyingly, they seem to have redesigned their stuff on the website recently, into something more simplified.

Ordered my iMac on 4/30, 7:40 am central US. I had a pending charge for 5 days which disappeared 2 days ago. Order still shows in process for 5/21-5/27. Any insight as to when I may see something moving in the right direction? Blue 8/8 core, 256, Touch ID, numeric keyboard.

I bet some people will get theirs. Apple did say second half of May which starts Sunday.
originally they said that... but now they have a hard release date... so most likely they'll be held... but they may get lucky

I’ve ordered 2 iMacs. One delivery date is 21 May - 27 May and one 28 May - 4 June. They have just taken the money for second, but not the first. Both are still showing ‘Processing’ I’m in the UK. Anyone in the UK had shipping confirmed yet?
OMG I'd be so pissed! lol! mine is 21 - 27 and his is 24 - 1 jun... i'd be pissed if he got his before me! and JEALOUS! especially since i'm the one all excited and antsy and he's just "it will get her when it gets here"

unless you get really lucky... you'll see it held at the hub then overnighted from there for the 21st. but you can still hope they let it slip through!

I can def see this happening. I’m just glad I’ll most likely see it on the 21st and not later. Truth be told, I’m just excited to stop having to carry my 16” MBP everyday from home to my office.

goodness just typing that made me say first world problems out loud.

I haven't tried being logged in on a web browser and viewing it, but current location shows in their app. Latest update for me is that it departed from facility in Shanghai at 4:29 PM today (Shanghai time, I assume)
The app worked! So weird they removed that functionality from their website. Thanks for the tip!

Where on Apple’s website is the release date? It’s why I think some people will get theirs early next week but unfortunately I won’t because I’m never that lucky ?

Hmm my FedEx tracking says delivery on May 19th!!
Please let us know if you end up getting it on the 19th! Mine is shipping via UPS with Int. WorldWide Express Saver which is a 3-day shipping guarantee, and mine shipped on Tuesday the 12th. I hope we get it soon :)

That's what i thought. They only said "second half of May" which theoretically, could mean any time after this Sunday...

I think the 'second half of May' may have been simply because they did not know with absolutely certainty when their supply chain would be totally ready. Given chip shortages and the impact of the pandemic in their suppliers, this probably wouldn't be surprising when they announced the new iMacs.

By the time preorders opened, it had become a little more clear, but even then, the fact that customers were (and are) being given a delivery target several days wide, suggests that it has been logistically problematic this time around.

But I would expect those being notified of delivery prior to 21st May finding their shipments held. It's entirely possible I will be proved wrong, but that's been Apple's practice in the past, and UPS and FedEx have seemed happy to comply.
