2021 iMac order thread

I love all of your pictures! I thought they would help me decide which color to order but no, it’s making the whole process even harder! I can’t decide between orange, green and (after seeing shirohana‘s pics) pink!

how would you describe the colors? Is green minty, orange more copper and pink more muted than the Apple Website suggests? Unfortunately I can’t look at these macs in person :(.

I thinking it depends very much on the light in the room. Here is a pic I took in a store earlier today

I have the same exact config as you, I ordered 5 mins after opening.

I spoke to apple and was informed of the same thing, so I decided to cancel and reorder it, even though it was around 9pm PST about 14 hours later, I still got the computer today with the numpad.

Sucks they told you that info, as they were very direct about it when I spoke with them.

I actually had two FedEx trucks stop by. One delivered the new iMac and one delivered the new Apple TV's. Normally they only have one delivery a day here in my small town. So maybe they have multiple trucks on Apple Day.

You were right to get both. I really, really wish I had purchased one along with the mouse. I'm hoping that Apple will have the stand alone mouse and TP in the colors for those of us who changed our minds.

Yeah I didnt even look at the mouse option, I just specced disk and ram, wish I would have got a trackpad added though. Mine hasn't shipped yet but I dont want to have to reorder.

I am hoping they put out a slew of accessories so we can add things missed by preorder
 
Silver 16G/512G arrived at lunchtime today ... wow, just wow 😃

Takes me back 30 years when I pre-ordered the first ever Arm desktop machine.

Hope you all get yours soon.
 
Still processing , delivery planned june 2nd, Ordered 45 min after order opening (8/8 - 16 go /256 in blue with numeric keyboard ):mad:

All the delivery trucks are loaded super early in the morning so when the driver gets into work their truck is already good to go for the day. I would say the chances are slim to none you get it today.

My blue 16GB/1TB has been in Memphis since Sunday afternoon too. Every day this week Fedex scans and reports that is still in Memphis. The delivery has been "Friday May 21 at 12:00 noon" until noon today, at which point it changed to "Friday May 21 by end of day". It doesn't appear to have left Memphis so I don't see how it will get here (midwest) by end of day. Sigh. I hope I don't have to wait until next week!
