ya i mentioned earlier in the thread that that is probably what was going to happen cuz even then you order it says no signature, contactless delivery. kinda BS for such expensive items, though!

it's on the road. expected 12:30 - 3:30

we'll see if it actually get's here shortly like he's been driving by every.weekday.for.over.two.weeks.

and every time her drove by and waved (LOTS of yard work! lol!) i'd say "he'd better be this early with my new computer!" ?

Mine must be on that same pallet. I called fedex and they are going to have someone call me back. I’m in California. Curious where everyone else that has the delay is.

UPS Canada screwed up my delivery - they were holding it in BC instead of staging it in Calgary, Alberta. So now they have released it, but it won't get here until Tuesday (after the long weekend). My shipping information said delivery by today (and still does). What a bunch of imbeciles (both Apple & UPS).

Gotta say I am glad I decided to go with the Magic Trackpad as well as the Magic Mouse. I find myself using the trackpad more then the mouse atm.

Update: I’ve added some nice Phillips hue lights at the back of the iMac and it looks absolutely amazing. Of course can change the colours.

what are your thoughts?

My iMac is coming from cork and shipped today via DHL. But now the shipment is on hold for some reason. Hopefully not like the embargo issue someone had earlier.

The long and short of what they told me is that it’s stuck in customs with about 125 other shipments due to some embargo restriction tied to the country of origin and customs is waiting for paperwork from Apple, and FedEx, subsequently, is waiting on customs.

Since they’re marked for weekday delivery only (cheaper service), at best, if Apple provides the paperwork today, it’ll be delivered on Monday.

I’m gonna call Apple and see what they can do on their end.

The direct number for information on this that was provided by FedEx is 800-455-4588, only open during weekdays 8AM-6PM central.

Just got off the phone with FedEx they said my order is a bulk shipment that hasn’t even cleared customs yet. She said even if it cleared customs today it wouldn’t be in Arizona until earliest Tuesday more like Wednesday or Thursday and even further if it takes more time to clear customs. Apple did say it would be the 24th to the 27th before I get it. Got so excited when I seen the 21st I should’ve known it wasn’t going to happen?

Up until yesterday expected delivery date by Apple was 28th... but DHL delivered (Silver 8/8/8/512) today! That's in The Netherlands.

UPS might have seriously messed up something, it was 21 May up until this morning, then my Mac sits in Köln, Germany since, and nothing estimated delivery date anymore…
