2021 iMac order thread

Just spoke to fedex customer advocacy and since my package is local they are going to call to see why they aren’t delivering today. I told her to tell them I can pick it up too. My computer is literally 20 mins away from me and sitting.
another rep I spoke to before her even refused to transfer me to the same Dept I spoke to when it was still in Memphis stating he wasn’t allowed to. He then said it can take days to sort through packages.
I’m preparing myself for another excuse. I wish UPS had my package or he’ll even USPS at this point.

We are waiting on this same order here too, still says processing.?
It came UPS, but I should have mentioned that I’m in the UK, so don’t have the same issues you all seem to be encountering.
Looking forward to getting home and setting it up. Gonna be a big job as I’m setting up from new and reviewing everything before installing to make sure I don’t fill it up with junk.
My Memphis debacle came to a satisfying end.

Yeah she called me back after speaking with my local hub saying there are too many orders for them to break down so it will take 2 more days to get to me.
I called Apple to file complaint on fedex since fedex won’t care about my feedback but Apple is their client so maybe they’ll have an impact on future dealings with fedex. Apple rep said the fact they won’t let me come get it and it’ll sit for a few days was ridiculous.
Thanks for calling Apple and letting them know. I am now convinced that FedEx is the worst shipping co. ever!
This Mac is so much more reliable than the M1 Mac mini I bought. My Mac mini was causing all sorts of display issues (like screen-tearing), bluetooth dropping every 2 mins & lagging constantly, wifi dropping every 2 mins, etc. Haven't experienced any issues whatsoever with the iMac, best computing experience I've ever had 
According to Apple, the iMac 24” weighs 9.8 lbs. That is six (6) times more than the iPad Pro 12.9” that weighs 1.5 lbs. that some tubers are comparing it to weight wise.i was suprised that the package was bigger than the impression I got from the vids plus a lot heavier package than I expected also.

I agree, since I called, this is what they updated my package too like it excuses them sitting on it. They are a piece of work.
Oh I agree, mine is still in processing and June 1 is next Tuesday
So I got the notification yesterday that my package was cleared for US Customs, it hasn’t changed status at all. So I reached out this morning on FedExHelp Twitter account and that person told me that it was still being held by US Customs??? So they gave me their international customer service number, I call it and that person told me that it’s magically on the truck out for delivery?? And that it’s been at my local distribution site since Friday?? I told her that I was looking at my tracking info and it said it was in Memphis but she just said my info was outdated and that she would tell the tech team to update it. I don’t believe a word they say at this point, but this is the most puzzling update yet.
I just received an out for delivery update!!! Of course no one will be home after 10 am this morning, now will they leave it at my doorstep or leave me a call tag?
Got it. My blue, 16gb, 1tb is fantastic. Calibrated the monitor and I think it looks better than the 27. It's awesome. Good luck to everyone waiting!
Mine coming from Ireland, too. It is in Germany, Köln since friday. It was due to be shipped friday, but was delayed. Last shipment tracking note says today 2:30 departed Köln, but nothing more since that. Im very confused, really messed up delivery, not the usual at all.
