Shockingly good man, wow

Glad you like them. I think they sound good but don't go anywhere near as loud as I would of hoped. Watching a movie or twitch stream with the AC in the window running I have to basically turn the volume all the way up. I find myself reaching for my AirPods max more often then not.

Got this from Apple about an hour ago:

Got this too. And an update from FedEx saying that it is apparently at my local distribution center (which is only like 10 minutes from me!) but it is labeled as clearance delay and pending delivery date. ?

These speakers :oops::oops:
They really excel at about 40% volume sitting right in front of them. Lately I'm listening to music a lot more while using the computer. Seems pretty obvious such small speakers wouldn't fill a big room with great sound, but still that's not bad. Transitioning from Mojave to Big Sur (and the Music app) on the new iMac, I spent hours getting my old iTunes songs better organized but it's worth it for the new sound.

Thanks to everyone who has been cheering me on as I waited for my Yellow iMac! Update- it was delivered at 10:10 am today!! No one was home, but they left it on my doorstep. Luckily my better half had just left for work and was able to turn around to run home and move it inside. These last few hours at work are going to go by so slowly.
I hope all the others with their 5/21 deliveries that were stuck in Memphis receive their iMacs today too!
We are all holding our breath waiting... did you get it setup yet?

Same. Chatted with Apple - learned that they can take 5-6 minutes to respond, but if I don't reply within 3 minutes they disconnect the chat, so I spoke with four different reps today. They all said the same thing, "I see it says delivery by end of day, that's exciting!" When I told them Memphis is 1100 miles from me and it's 3pm, I don't think it's gonna make it, they said, "Well it could!"

It's frustrating because the computer was in Memphis on Sunday, the 16th, and my original delivery date was Friday the 21st by noon. After noon, it switched to end of day. Sometime Sunday (the 23rd) it switched to Monday by noon. Today after noon it switched to end of day. I expect it will change to "Pending" later tonight.

For whatever reason, FedEx keeps scanning the package each day in Memphis ("At local facility"), so each rep I talked to said, "It just got there today." And I had to explain no, look at the expanded history, it arrived there the 16th and they just keep scanning it. (And listen, I don't want to beat up on Apple Support reps, but if a computer showed up in Memphis at 5am, what are the chances it's going to get scanned for arrival, scanned for departure, get to the hub in my state 1100 miles away, loaded on a truck and driven another 45 miles, and be delivered by 9pm that same day? Seems like a pretty small chance, I'm not sure why they kept insisting I might get it today.)

The last Apple rep was great, but she couldn't do anything. She said Apple won't consider next steps until two days after the last day of the delivery window given at the time of ordering. She also said if the shipper has an expected delivery date, they may not take action until two days after that has passed. So I have to wait until next Saturday, if it isn't delivered before then, before I can contact Apple and ask for a replacement.

(Maybe it will, just feeling pessimistic because it's been in Memphis for 9 days and doesn't seem to be going anywhere.)

I have ordered several Apple products from them every year since 2008. This is the biggest delivery FUBAR I have ever experienced!

Yes! It is set up and I have to say it is definitely the best computer I have ever owned. The color is stunning. It is fast. And I haven’t heard a fan yet. Since I am upgrading from a well used 2011 21.5 I am still figuring out everything that is new. Pictures will follow once I clean my apartment.

I never usually listenEd to music when on my old 27 Mac but been on YouTube music all the time since getting this,I’m not into heavy rock type music that can be stimulating at loud volumes so I find these speakers and sound just right for what I listen to.
