2021 iMac order thread

Wish you all the best! And for me ?I listen to music often when working on my iMac and have a HomePod in my study to AirPlay to, as the speakers in my 27” weren’t really good enough.
After one evening using the 24”, I’m going to keep using those speakers and either use the HomePod elsewhere or eBay it.
Obviously the iMac speakers aren’t as good as the HomePod, but they are quite acceptable for the purpose. I have AirPod Max if I want better quality at my desk and a combination of homepods or sound bars in other rooms.
Overall I’m very happy with the iMac speakers and it is something else removed from my desk.
I had the same yesterday, and then a few hours later the tracking info started updating (DHL) and it has managed to go from Cork to Dubai via Liepzig in under 24h. No chance of getting it today though will be tomorrow I guess - 2 days later than what it should have been however still a day earlier than the original Apple estimated window so can't complain too much
UPS didn’t bring it yet, its 3pm.

Woke up to a flurry of updates that my iMac FINALLY escaped Memphis, made it to my local distribution center, AND made it in time to be on the truck out for delivery?! A miracle, if it’s actually true.
Mine was scanned again in my town and still showing delivery tomorrow. I wish I could find a 16gb local, I’m close to 3 Apple stores because I don’t trust I’ll get it tomorrow.
Mine finally left Memphis and is in transit to Ontario, Calif which is about and hour and a half from me, so doubt I'll get it today even though it says "Scheduled" for today. {Been there done that for the 3rd time} But I better get it tomorrow!

It is here! Box said assembled in China (delivered in Netherlands). First finish work but can’t wait to unwrap it!!
Do you recall how long time it approximately took between the stages in the order/delivery proces? I’m waiting for mine in Denmark and the promised delivery date is getting close, but the order status is just stuck at processing ?
Interesting. So Apple has gone from mainly manufacturing iMacs in China to China, Thailand and Ireland?
It will be tomorrow. From Ontario it will have to go to your local hub to be put on a truck for delivery in the morning. Mine went from Oakland to the local hub in one day, but they only load the trucks in the morning which fir me meant it sat 2 miles from my house from Friday night until
Monday morning.

Ordered it 5 min after launch, silver 16GB and 1TB. It went pretty quickly to 28 May delivery date. In the end shipping email was on 21 May at night and delivered today but also because this Monday was a bank holiday and apple does not deliver on Saturday’s… it came directly from the Dutch hub in Eindhoven. Hopefully that gives you some insights
