For those looking for 16gb ram option at local Apple Stores, I'm finding some availability when its combined with the 1TB HD option. Might just be in AZ but worth a shot to check in other areas.
I guess that is why I try to order the base model of new stuff ... plus, I tried to pick a color that fewer people would want and Apple may have some stockpile ... green!
Is anybody waiting on a DHL shipment? Mine was marked as Dispatched last Thursday (yippee, I thought!) and the tracking advised the shipment had been picked up in Shanghai.
Since then I've had no updated and the status hasn't changed. So either it's been forgotten about in a warehouse somewhere or it's actually on its way and the tracking is just a bit rubbish.
I've been on the phone to both Apple and DHL and neither can find my shipment, claiming perhaps it's part of a larger pallet and will be scanned again once it's been split up. But nobody can track that larger pallet either. My estimated delivery day is meant to be this Friday but I have about 0% faith that it'll actually turn up on that day.

Preparing to ship was I think a day before the real shipping. But it went pretty fast. My creditcard had a charge pending about 2/3 days before that
I had DHL but it came from Ireland. It appeared in tracking than did nothing for almost 4 days. I got the same response from DHL and Apple, to the point one Apple phone support person said it might be because of Brexit which was throughly entertaining.
Anyway, from the day it finally left Ireland it took around 30h to reach my door which was quite impressive.
Could you please tell what is the country of origin on your box? Mine is Ireland.
I'm in the same situation. DHL picked up my order in Shangahi on Saturday and no further tracking details since then. (I'm in the UK)
The Apple website says it will be delivered on 1st June, the Apple Store iOS app says it'll be delivered on 8th June, DHL say they don't know when it'll be delivered.?♀️
same here, near Stuttgart/Germany, apple website closer to being correct though.. talked to an apple support dude, said the imac (8/8/16/256) still in Shanghai, maybe today or tomorrow in the Netherlands. will be delivered via dhl express, got a tracking link on monday (24.05) saying “Shipper has generated a shipment label, but the shipment has not yet been handed over to DHL”
woke up to hubby's blue preparing to ship! the charge is not back on my Apple Card yet, though.
Finally got around to setting it up, I love it!

Same here, although mine was Sunday. Still in Shanghai supposedly. I reckon they’re all going to start showing up here in the UK in the next day or so. Hopefully you still get it by Friday, once the shipment is here they’re usually pretty quick at getting it delivered within 24 hours.
