Ordered a green 16GB and 1TB yesterday. Was planning to wait until after WWDC, but the shipping times are getting so long now, that I have plenty of time to cancel if something better comes along. Already started to second guess my choice of colour … yellow is growing on me!

mine was pending prior to so it threw me off. now his showed as pending for a week then fell off... whereas mine never did that.... it showed up pending then shipped then charged.... it's just messing with me!
and ups is gonna mess with me on his delivery, too... I'm sure! he drove by AGAIN at 10:30 and yesterday at 10:15.... let's see if that happens when hubby's comes or if a different driver drives all over town and delivers it in the afternoon!

Mine shipped Friday and was in shanghai all weekend , finally moved to Germany yesterday and is now in UK at Standford Le Hope , delivery scheduled for tomorrow morning from UPS

Yes. Mine sat in Memphis for 5 days. Then said delivery by noon on 5/21. Then didn’t show up and moved to pending. But the day it updated to out for delivery by noon it actually arrived. And at 10:10 am.
I've had this happen with both and non-Apple products. Usually the carrier is FedEx when it happens. I've also had the delivery date change to the next day. On that occasion the delivery date was supposed to have been on a Friday and so it was bumped to a Monday.
However, in all cases with both UPS and FedEx the package was delivered by next business day.
I haven't had such luck with the USPS, unfortunately... Almost all of my bad shipping experiences are with them.
Hopefully FedEx comes through for you.

I guess you can trust the forecasted date indicated. Status will move very fast.
mine is shipped even if my credit card has not been charged yet.
Same here - but I have also seen wild fluctuations with this iMac. Preparing to ship, back to processing (I hope it sticks this time!)
So are all these shipping issues a normal thing with Apple and their online pre orders? This is my first experience with online ordering from them as I usually just go to my local Apple store and while I myself didn’t have any issues thankfully I find it odd that so many people are and find it hard to believe that this isn’t a common occurrence
My pre-order history, order on release day (minutes from store re-opening = first ~5-15 min, depending on store issues, etc...) I get the item I want on release day.
That has been my experience in the last ~5 years of ordering 10+ new release items. This iMac (blue 16GB/1TB) has been the exception
My guess will be 1 week past release day this order.

Mine arrived yesterday at last! UPS debacle over and forgotten. I love my new iMac! I'm going from a 27" 2013 model. The jump in the quality of the screen is unreal, the sound is awesome. Screen size is perfect still despite it being smaller. I even love typing on the keyboard so much more! However, I've just tested out the camera on Microsoft Teams. It is so much better that it shows up WAY too much detail in my face... I think I preferred the old blurry image!
