Are you going to order the new iPhone 14?

If you ordered a launch day phone from a carrier like AT&T, T-Mobile, etc, those phones may originate stateside. Those discussions should be taking place in different threads designated for orders from those carriers. THAT's what is causing all the confusion.
Assume is a bad word here but carrier phones also started their journey where made and then are sent to the carrier stateside who then sometimes ship stateside and I am assuming (there I go again) that their tracking information is only tracked from the carrier to the receiver.

Yes thats because paperwork are being sent to KY. Next Thursday or so you will see the full listing of the scans on your tracking. Right now since it’s international you cant see it
Thank you for the explanation. Still a little confused why it showed up for today, but no worries, maybe I just read it wrong. I did download the app and the Louisville information isn't showing on mine. This is a pretty nice app.

Do iPhones get lost when in shipment ?
You should review Macbook Pro 14" 16 " thread. Last year there was a mechanical failure with the UPS Aircraft. It was a hot mess. But on this thread. I would not worry about it.

I’m able to see my 2 iPhone orders on the UPS website by searching by my phone number but it only lets me see the last 4 digits of tracking number. I have the matching delivery address and phone number on my UPS app but nothing loads for tracking info. Any thoughts?

Do you guys think this will pass Apple Trade In? This is my 13 Pro Max. Apple states the body has to be free of dents and scratches.

What do you guys think? This part is the absolute worst part. The rest of the phone is flawless

Yea its weird. I have two iphone orders and both on wave 2 and only one of them shows that message while other one does not. But it’s interesting how AfterShip can pull that info but UPS app doesnt show it. They are hiding it from us:)

You beat me to it good sir. I ordered directly from AT&T but this thread is more active and more entertaining to read so every year I spend a majority of my time in the Apple thread.
Welcome! Glad to have you here. Wish us some good luck, we get out of China soon :)

There was a similar issue with iPhone several years ago... maybe the iPhone 7 or 7S ... something happened in China that caused a delay of a day or two... UPS was delivering "Friday" phones on Saturday and Sunday...

Just tried placing an online pickup order through apple, does Magenta MAX Military not qualify for the $1000 trade in credit? Apple keeps trying to make me switch to the regular MAX plan in order to get the $1000 credit.

You have ups my choice?

You’re not mistaken. There’s a ton of false information being thrown around in this thread. The phones originate in China, but they’ve been in the States for days at this point waiting to be delivered (we have trailers full of them). Its been done this same way for years.
Some have been in the states, but not all of them. Many more are coming via UPS. My tracking information proves this. Or are you implying that UPS is faking the tracking information on thousands of Apple customer orders.

There's usually an option on the UPS website ...
And with a MyChoice account track the truck usually pops up on delivery day

Are you logged in to UPS with a MyChoice account? That is all I'm seeing right now as well, but I think even though it is my phone, it has Mr Wolf's name on it. That's why its not showing up with full tracking in my MyChoice. Once it shows as shipped on APPLE order page you will be able to see the full tracking number for sure. If you don't have one yet sign up for the free MyChoice account.

Back in March of 2009, I remember there being a FedEx cargo plane crash overseas that happened to be carrying a recently released Apple product at the time. Shortly after the crash, people were flocking the forums saying there was a weird note in their tracking about the item. I wish I could remember specifically what it said but basically implying that there was a unforeseen event delay and no further information was provided. Then it was realized these shipments were linked to being on this crashed cargo plane. Very sad day...

Honestly you’re probably still ok. There have been years when my tracking didn’t show up until the night before. Then there’s been years where I have had tracking, almost immediately. Apple knows what they’re doing.
Am thinking that as well (never had an issue with Apple to date, and I've bought an obscene number of launch day products ever since they opened the online store in the late 90's). After early retiring from tech, I did work part time overnight for a few years in supply chain logistics (both general merchandise and cold chain) so I'm familiar with the end-to-end process as well as how stuff falls through the cracks (the rare edge cases). Am just hoping I'm not one of those rare edge cases... lol

Unfortunately, that way only gives the last 4 number of the tracking. Thanks though.
Funny, if it shows on ups.com it should show in the UPS app. I have so many deliveries and they’re sorted by date so at first I missed that the phone delivery was at the bottom. Full tracking & tracking info shows there.
