I still haven't gotten an email about the Trade-in kit. Maybe I get to keep my iPhone 13 Pro? 😜

Trade In Kit usually ships after your device. So since Apple registers shipped today trade in kits should be shipping today and arriving over the next few days. You get 14 days to return it using the kit.

Yeah you’re right. I’ve just never had Apple give me a tracking number before it’s visible in consumer facing systems. This is also the phone I’ve never been able to track by reference, so I’ve been mildly concerned about it this whole week.

It is and they are but that tracking number wasn’t there earlier this morning. UPS and Apple are firing on all cylinders today.

Was going to post in the AirPod order thread. It does not seem to exist. Also, mine are engraved which usually delays it. If I do indeed get these tomorrow it will be nice to tinker with them when most everyone else is playing on their island

Something seems wrong with my order. On the Apple order page, status changed to "Shipped" a few hours ago and says "Arrives Sept. 16". I never received an email notification that it shipped. When I track using the tracking number, it says "Label Created" and "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible". When i try to track by reference number using either the serial number or order number, I get "We could not locate the shipment details for this tracking number". Any suggestions?

Update to this, I did just get my email from Apple that it has shipped, but tracking is still ""Label Created" and "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible".

I have UPS MyChoice, tried to reroute it to a UPS pickup point - took a day and they denied it, saying it had to be signed for (??!?)

I just called them because my 3 reroutes weren’t all in the system. I had 3 pending charges on my Apple Card but only 2 went thru. The customer service rep did the third. It’ll be a god sent miracle if all 3 are actually held lol

Try UPS Track by reference number. Put in the order number of your AirPods but remove the last two digits. That is how it showed up for me. I had to triple check in a bit of disbelief.

If you have been charged for the ups cc request hold consider that as your confirmation. Right now practically most stats are hidden except departure and arrival scans. Once ups release full transcript you will see it then

My charge is still pending but I have faith. Still plan to call later today to confirm.

I now have both my UPS import scan and I got the email from Apple so all I have to do is wait until this evening or early tomorrow, for it to start moving from Louisville to Indianapolis, to Urbana, IL, to Decatur, IL, then back to Urbana where I can pick it up. Hopefully.

Last year they lost it in Urbana, and it almost went to California. It hadn’t been taken off the truck that brought it from Decatur back to Urbana, and that truck was due to go to California. If I hadn’t been politely insistent that it was there, they wouldn’t have taken a second look.

Urbana?? I’m your neighbor over in Bloomington/Normal!

I bought some Air Pods Max in the Amazon flash sale that MR reported on a couple of days ago, they arrived yesterday. Have to say that while they're not any better than the Bose QC 35's (except for the spatial audio) they are a lot more comfortable. Less physical pressure on the ears, even though they're heavier.

The above has nothing to do with this thread, or anything really, I just thought I'd mention it.
