Same. I feel like a kid again. I haven't been this excited for a piece of tech in ages (except my PlayStation 5).Beyond excited. I can't believe it. This year has been the best honestly! It's been a while since I've felt like that about an iPhone and I've been upgrading back to back since 2008.
@Brad7 @TheYayAreaLiving 🎗 I am going to get some shuteye. Will catch up with you guys early tomorrow. Good Night!
Now you're convincing me to rethink my color choice.Yeah, I'm gonna hop on the I'm returning it bandwagon and wallow in my first world problems because the world owes me so much.

I just don’t want to have to download and sign in to dozens of apps. Streaming, shopping, food, socials, games, etc… not to mention all the wifi networks, settings… just way too much of a hassle. I’ve been restoring every year for 10 years (my photos and texts go back to 2012) and never had a single problem with those mythical “bugs” 🤷🏻♂️Personal preference. But I want a fresh install with bugs free. If you want to store data back you have iCloud to do that.

Bring on iPhone 15! 😂anyone feeling excited to get their phone?
The keychain is on the cloud. That’s what Carries the passwords over anyways. ☺️I just don’t want to have to download and sign in to dozens of apps. I wish I understood the whole picture well enough to not be freaked out by doing it this way. I don’t have enough knowledge to know what I will and won’t get back, what I’ll have to setup from scratch etc. I always do backups but I’ve never used them. I always just let the new phone copy the old one and I’m done and everything is where it was.Guys, it's best to set up your iPhone as brand new. You get a different feel to it. It's worth it.
Do it the way that you are familiar and comfortable with.I wish I understood the whole picture well enough to not be freaked out by doing it this way. I feel like the anxiety is just too much. What if’s are so many! Maybe it’s better, I believe you all, but it’s safer for an old lady like me to not try it.
That being said.. I’d like to know what you mean by having a different feel to it by doing it that way? I mean sure it would seem fresh if you have to load everything one by one but that sounds like a lot of work.
If you want to do it but feel anxious about losing something, you could go to your carrier's local store and have them do it for you.. It just takes a couple of minutes.I wish I understood the whole picture well enough to not be freaked out by doing it this way. If you prefer going backups. Go with that option. There is no harm. Do what makes you feel comfortable. Post looks awesome, those really were some excellent shots you got today.Just updated Post 1. It looks so real! This is a like big project coming together and I'm beyond proud of it. Check it out!
Thanks to all of you! Teamwork makes the dream work! Took many months of planning! 👏🏻
Yes but I do like to learn. If people are saying it’s better not to, then I question my routine just because it’s comfortable. I’ll probably just do the quick way. If Apple has that setup you would think it’s not all bad. Just a choice I guess. Back when computers were just being a thing, I was on the ground floor. I lost the flow really fast. Lol I can program a TRS80 and I was chatting before the internet was even a thing. it’s frustrating to have it so over my head now.Do it the way that you are familiar and comfortable with.
Apple gives us choices. The easiest way is to just let iCloud back up all of your vital information ... Contacts, Photos/Videos, etc.. It's just a set it and forget it backup system.Yes but I do like to learn. If people are saying it’s better not to, then I question my routine just because it’s comfortable. Thank you! The aircraft was huge. It was so loud and I saw the Pilot coming my way too. It was so weird! I can't imagine what @mralexrest saw in Louisville, Kentucky.Post looks awesome, those really were some excellent shots you got today.
The carrier store? Oh heck no. I’m not worried about doing it the couple minutes way, I’d be worried starting fresh and they won’t take time for that. Thank you though, I appreciate it when people reply to my posts. If you want to do it but feel anxious about losing something, you could go to your carrier's local store and have them do it for you.. Completed understand. Honestly, I'm just weird and when it comes to things like that such as tech. I get very pick and critical. Sometimes I get annoyed to myself. You can also go with what @Shh posted.Yes but I do like to learn. If people are saying it’s better not to, then I question my routine just because it’s comfortable.
