So, same here! I was planning on setting up my phone during my lunch break, but, maybe for cosmic reasons, I am only now getting setting my new iPhone 14 Pro Space Black...it's insane how sometimes, even with your best intentions, you can't follow through on your plans for the day....
I had the morning off and didnā€™t have to go in until 2pm. I had a delivery window of 10:45a-12:45pm so I was hopeful that it would show up before I left for work but unfortunately I had to leave before it was delivered. I got the delivery confirmation at 3:10 pm. Nice choice in color, I went with Space Black this year also.

UPS left my iPhone 14 Pro Max outside the Postal Office where my POBOX is, I really doubt it, I think that the driver stole it.

When I found out that UPS would deliver, I reported yesterday to an Apple specialist, to held at a carrier hub, but they still put him on the delivery truck.

They told me to wait a day for the result of the investigation. I feel very frustrated and mad, sorry about my bad grammar but english is not my first language.

I'll wait all weekend, has anyone had something similar?

So this was the roughest upgrade Iā€™ve done. I traded my 13 Pro in at the Apple Store, tried to set up the 14 Pro, and it couldnā€™t connect to T-Mobile because it needed to send the code to my 13 Pro, which was already deleted. I wound up having to drive to a T-Mobile location to get them to transfer my number over. They said I was the 5th person to come in with the issue.

Now that itā€™s working, I am enjoying the phone quite a bit though.

1) If it makes you feel any better you seem to grasp English better than some of my native (USA) born coworkers
2) Unfortunately I think this means you might be in for a delay, but as long as you stick with it, I don't think you'll be out any product/money

i learned my lesson long ago to never wipe my phone with Authenticator apps until itā€™s done restoring! As a matter of fact saved me a huge headache right now since it restored my back up keys for some apps!

You can tell itā€™s iPhone release day, I must have seen like 5 I phone 14ā€™s pro out and about, there was a couple taking a picture of his wife from like 50 feet away outside of target šŸ¤£

The employee is the one who wiped my phone during the purchase. I even asked about how transferring my number to the new phone would work, and she said itā€™d be there with the iCloud backup.

The ā€œQuick startā€ process did NOT work for the 14 that I bought for my wife, but I was honestly surprised that the ATT e-sim transfer/activation process from her Xs to 14 was pretty straightforward. She likes it, so its all good.

Call Apple and tell them you'd like to pick up at a store and cancel the one you didn't take delivery on.... But, first make sure that the one you want is in stock near you.

Well this has been a Long Day. 10 min to 7 in Los Angeles still nothing.
Update! It showed up @ 7:40pm. UPS Drivers apologized said he was sorry he couldn't get my iPhone to me sooner. That was really nice and has never happened before.

Initial reaction to iPhone not as black as I had hoped and camera bumps not as big as I expected... I am very happy with it.

Update from me! Phone was delivered at 11:30 to my work (best UPS guy ever or I wouldnā€™t have gotten it until 7). Took an hour with USMobile tech support to transfer my esim because it wouldnā€™t quick transfer. However, I used quick transfer with no WiFi at work and it worked perfect, once my line was transferred over all my apps downloaded over cellular. All and all ended up being a good experience.
Honestly, Iā€™ve had every single iPhone since the 4. Sometimes more than one size of each generation. This is hands down my absolute favorite phone I have ever had and the color is gorgeous.
Thankyou to all who helped me, made me drinks, and kept me company while we waited for the last week. Iā€™ll still be checking in here to make sure you all get your babies delivered to you. Much love iPhone fam šŸ˜˜

Very few differences from my 13 Pro so far, but Iā€™m liking the island a lot, the deep purple, and Iā€™m like AOD more than I thought I would. I thought Iā€™d turn it off, but right now, I enjoy it!

So far, the dynamic island happens less often than I was expecting too. I wonder how much itā€™ll get used for me.
This very much mirrors my experience, though I always figured I'd love AOD. (I do.)

Well my phone showed up at 1708, and just a few minutes ago I was finally able to unbox it (errands then dinner and family time and TV time and then cleanup time and then play for five minutes before bedtime lol...and then come on here to post with glee rofl). I installed a Spigen tempered glass screen protector on it straight out of the box. Dusted off my desk, dusted off all the dust that came from the Spigen packaging (you'd think they'd be sensitive to this), popped the little holder onto the phone without even wiping the screen and prayed and it worked flawlessly. Popped it into the full coverage (even camera bump) case I mentioned earlier in the thread (this one) and now it's charging on my nightstand. I'll set it up in the morning. I got the regular Pro, and I'll be honest...I wish it were smaller. But, I like the heft of it. I like the hint of purple that shows through around the camera lenses (the case is juuuuust slightly taller like less than a millimeter than the lenses so it offers protection just like a lip around the screen).

I really wish more products on the market had fully recyclable paper-based packaging like this. I'd be willing to pay the difference. I really would.
