You won't get it on sep 30 bud. I got the initial scheduled delivery for tomorrow. It was shipped 2 days ago from China. Now there's no date. By default UPS Worldwide Express Saver has a 2 business day guarantee from China to US. But I guess that guarantee is not for iPhones. Soon you'll see what I mean.
Yeah it said 10/5 in the email, and AfterShip said it’s usually an estimated 6 days from China. No idea why it suddenly switched to 9/30 but I’m not expecting that to happen. Although that timeframe does line up with how this goes on launch day, but that seems like more of a special occasion. I’m still expecting next week.

Funny thing is I was just gonna cancel it yesterday too, haha. Decided it’s not enough of an upgrade from my 13 Pro. I was just barely too late - didn’t expect it to ship 2 weeks early! Oh well, guess I’ll try it out and see what I think.

So I just got notification from FedEx that my trade in box will be here tomorrow and yet my iPhones have not left china and have no delivery date! Will ups deliver these on a Saturday or will we have to wait for Monday if they leave china soon?

Same here, my trade-in will be here tomorrow, but my phone won’t be here until Monday October 3rd, which is fine with me.

Cancelled my ATT order with delivery of 10/7-14 and was able to do in store pick up at an Apple Store. There were a bunch that popped up today for Apple store pick up. I see some now available for store pick up.

I had an order in through Walmart, I had ordered on September 18 with expected delivery September 26, but the order never moved from placed until September 26 when it went to delayed and has stayed there Walmart can’t give any info. So hubby and I decided tonight I would cancel order from Walmart and go ahead and order from Apple. So now I wait for my black 1tb iPhone 14 pro max.

Has anyone else ever ordered through Walmart for an phone? I have never ordered an Iphone from Apple before. This is exciting 😊. My estimated ship date through Apple is Oct 28 - Nov 4.

Nope, the last scan was from 9/26 in Zhengzhou. Your package has been released by the government agency.
Mine has a couple scans after that starting they were trying to schedule my delivery but all still in China. My local Apple Store has stock now wishing I would have cancelled this order not sure if I can now that it “shipped” even tho it hasn’t moved

I've rarely have a good experience ordering online from Walmart. Not phones, but so many times, I ordered something for in-store pickup, only to have it cancelled because they didn't have it, like their stock indicated.

We had an issue on an order I ordered after I ordered the phone, I ordered 3 of the item they sent me one and then the rep was rude. Finally got it sorted out but dang I was shocked as have never had that happen before.
I ordered from Walmart because they said they had the phone I wanted and the it stayed in placed until the day it was supposed to be delivered and when talked to reps by chat or on phone could not tell me that it was in a basic code which meant they were searching warehouses etc for the product a specialist was supposed to contact me within 48hrs and never did.
I really like the process of ordering through Apple it was so seamless I will probably stick with ordering from them. I have read all the posts in this forum post, and feel Apple will be the best option. i also love that I can set Siri to monitor the tracking and I can ask for updates I think that is cool, also all the places I did the initial look at never offered the option for a down payment and I thought that was great also.

Sigh. Really can’t stand UPS at times.

Preordered my 14 PM and got an estimated delivery date between 9/28-10/3. But my order shipped early on 9/17 and was supposed to be delivered last Friday between 10am-12pm (had a confirmed delivery window from my premium MyChoice membership). However the phone never arrived. Called my local UPS facility at 7pm that evening to see what happened. The manager assured me it was probably loaded onto the wrong truck, would be rescanned that evening, and would go out for delivery on Saturday.

Long story short, that never happened. Numerous calls with the facility and their ultimate answer was they couldn’t find the package….it was lost. Told me to call Apple and file a claim. Unfortunately the UPS website said the package was still processing at the local facility. So took a few calls with Apple and their shipping investigations team to get things sorted.

Apple of course eventually responded in terrific fashion. My main concern was that my replacement phone would not ship anytime soon, since the estimated delivery was early November. Was told not to worry since they’d expedite the replacement. My replacement device order was processed yesterday it’s already in the shipping process (awaiting clearance in ZZ). Wow.

And as an “apology” for all the hassle, Apple sent me a HomePod mini which arrived yesterday.

TL;DR. UPS sucks. Apple replacements for devices lost in shipment are truly expedited. And Apple customer service is amazing.

Like I said in my original post, the 9/30 is the default value UPS puts for all their Worldwide Express Saver from China. Go Google UPS Worldwide Express Saver China, you'll read all about it. 2 day delivery guaranteed to US/Canada/Europe. 1 day guarantee to Asia. Mine originally said 2 days too but nah, not happening, unless they forgot to scan the package when it left China, when it entered Korea, when it left Korea, etc... so many checkpoint scans. Either that or it's lost/stolen.

The question is why isn't the SLA upheld in this case of 2 day guarantee. Probably a huge discount between UPS and Apple was struck. Instead of paying $450 per phone to US (yes I worked at UPS when I was younger and know how to use their software), Apple is probably paying $4.5 per phone for a 1 week guarantee.

I didn’t feel like scrolling through all these pages to see, but I’m curious as to what is with this whole US Agency stuff. Does this happen for every flight? And does it push my order from being here on time?

I can't stand their internatinal scannings. It's not up to par. But They're not to blame here. It's Apple. They should've shipped all these devices to Alaska or somewhere on US soil months ago, not ship them 2 weeks after customer's order... Yes I have high standards, it's Apple. Not your local mom and pop store.

Also having UPS issues, circling in Zhengzhou.
10/10 - 10/17 original estimate, started shipping on the 26th, and (at one point) had an estimate for later today.

Mine as well and now neither phone has a delivery date and still haven’t left china. Worst part is my local Apple Store has both in stock for pick up in store and now I can’t cancel because it has “shipped” even tho I don’t think it has shipped anywhere yet.

I ordered a pro max 128gb black on 9/11 through Apple Store with an eta 10/18-10/25…just shipped last night!
Good luck. Their shipping is terrible. Mine has be sitting in china with no departure scan all week. At this rate it will be here 10/10 the original date. Knew I would t get it early, never peeing from Apple direct again.

I ordered through Target one year for some promotion they were offering, it was a nightmare. I have no idea how long it would have taken, because I cancelled my phone after 3 weeks of no progress or info at all, I was supposed to have it on launch day. I also ordered directly from Verizon one year, and it was not any better. Ordered a couple minutes when it went live, promised for day one delivery, never had it a week after launch, walked into an apple store and bought one. I'll never order anywhere other than the Apple store directly.

My trade-in kit with my iPhone 13 Pro Max arrived at Apple facility safely. I was given a full trade-in amount for the device. Process complete. Until next year y’all. 😊

My 14 PM Silver has had 8 time stamps since its original scan two days ago, all saying basically the same thing... "Your package is in transit and we're updating plans to schedule your delivery". 8 TIMES! It's still in ZhengZhou. I have no idea when it will arrive and it's driving me nuts! I just want to know when to be home. Hoping for an update with movement by tonight.
WELP! NO movement. Been 3 days still in ZhingZhou.
